Delilah
I'd been listening to the radio just jamming out following Steve down the road, the outline of his maroon BMW loosely visible under the streetlights when I saw a person standing in front of me on the road. I slammed on my brakes in a panic watching Steve's car drive away.

I took a few deep breaths relieved I didn't hurt the person, they took a few steps towards the car slowly, stepping from the shadows and into the rays of orange light.

  Eli.

He slammed his hands on the hood of my car violently. "Get out of the god damn car Delilah!" He screamed pounding his fists down again.

I looked ahead desperately for Steve's car but he was long gone and I was all alone. I carefully got out of the car backing up from him with every advance forward he made, maybe if I ran enough I could make it back to the video store.

"You're not seriously thinking of running away are you now?" He taunted, getting even closer.

"Stop it, stay the fuck away!" I yelled crying.  He only kept getting closer for every step back I took it felt like he could take two more, a brisk breeze cruised over the surface of my skin making me shiver as thunder rolled in the distance.

Behind Eli, up in the sky red looking clouds of lightning struck continuously, making my ears throb. Desperately I sprinted down the road. "You dumb whore don't you fucking run from me!" He hollered catching up on my heels.

I pushed my legs with all I could but he still swiped his hands onto my shoulders and tackled me to the ground, wrapping his hands around my throat tightly. I shut my eyes tightly and coughed harshly but when I opened I found a figure covered with these weird-looking veins or tentacle vine-looking things wrapping around his body.

I screamed at the top of my lungs in fear, sobbing and trying to fight away. "What the fuck, what the fuck!" I screamed thrashing around.

"You're different than the others, I don't believe you're deserving of a death like the ones who are to face the same fate, I need you, and you'll find that you need me." The creature spoke in a deep voice that I could feel in my chest.

I cried even harder, beginning to pass out.

"Delilah! Delilah look at me!" I heard Steve's voice screaming in the distance so I sat up briefly only to be slammed back onto the pavement.

"You can't leave we've yet to catch up on so much dear, stay and see what the other 3 will face." I punched this thing in the head barely stunting it but enough to stand up only to be so dizzy I fell right back to my knees on the pavement. "You'll be back."

I gasped waking up at the wheel with Steve frantically working on unbuckling my seatbelt through my shattered driver's side window. I broke out in sobs desperately unlocking my doors and tumbling out of the car into Steve's hold. I frantically looked down both sides of the road and into the sky, not seeing red lightning or creepy tentacle guy or Eli.

Steve gently shushed me and squeezed me securely while Robin held my hands comfortingly. I sobbed for what felt like forever until I could catch my breath.

"Delilah, what happened?" Steve asked cautiously. I took another few deep breaths and wiped my eyes, cautiously looking around again.

"There was someone I knew in the road and so I stopped and you drove away, and he uh, he did some messed up shit then he turned into some monster-like looking thing and the sky was all red and it told me something about some other 3?" I rambled starting to tear up again.

"None of that happened, you've been in the car probably the last 10 minutes I mean your eyes were rolled back, all white you wouldn't say a thing or move," Robin recalled with a disturbed tone.
