Eddie
"Steve what was it she was trying to do? Was she trying to Vecna you? Is she only the messenger?" I pestered as Steve handled the RV, Delilah out cold in the passenger seat.

"Would you please shut the fuck up, it's not your business." He said grouchily. I groaned.

"Jesus H. Christ, Harrington, would you do us all a favor and pull the STICK out of your ASS? Or what, would you like me to do it for you? You know man, the world is fucking ENDING, our friend just came back from the dead an hour ago and tried to MAUL us all, and you won't stop this pity bullshit? No one is winning her over when all she wants to do is SUCK THE BLOOD OUT OF US!" I ranted, waving my arms around wildly as the whole RV went quiet and Steve's eyes went wide.

"Yeah you know, it's not, pshhh, no big deal, you're totally right." He said embarrassed, gripping the wheel with white knuckles.

"You ready to tell me what happened big boy?" I said with a shit eating grin. He nodded slowly.

"Eddie don't go blabbing to the others about this either alright? I feel bad enough telling you as it is. She said I didn't understand her pain, so I asked her to help me to, and she did. She killed her sister, I guess it followed her. Then in this void this, guy, yanked her away from leaving with me, she sent me to the light back to being conscious and she couldn't get out." He explained quietly, looking over at her.

"So she's in like, a void coma?" I asked looking over her still figure. Steve nodded and held her hand securely. "This is all my fault." I admitted guiltily. He looked at me appalled.

"How is this your fault Eddie, come on there's no way you really believe that man?" He said sadly. I nodded.

"At the least I'm partially responsible, I let Wheeler shoot her, I could've taken the bullet, I-"

"Eddie stop it, please. We could all sit here all day and play the blame game, I mean I just froze there, I couldn't move, I wanted to so badly, like maybe I could've even gotten the gun, but I froze." He said with a breaking voice.

"We could all sit here and play the blame game, you're right, but why don't we admit to the only person to really blame here." I said pointedly. Steve shook his head.

"It wouldn't be right to pin it on any of us, that wasn't anybodies first choice." He said quietly.

"It was Wheeler's first choice! She pulled the trigger, she aimed the gun, she didn't shed a tear when Delilah died in the first place, when she fucking murdered her!" I yelled looking at Nancy's shocked face.

I looked around as I noticed everyone else's shocked faces. Steve said earlier it would be better to not mention what killed Delilah but it didn't seem right. Henderson guided me to sit down next to him, patting my arm slowly.

"I'm sorry Eddie, I can tell that she really means a lot to you, but she'll be okay, we always find our way out of these things." He said with a smile.

"I don't know man, I don't. She's had too many close calls, this monster guy, he's like stalking her and he's being stubborn, I'm happy she's alive Dustin, but he wouldn't even let her rest easy, her brought her back like she is and she's clearly in pain because of it."

"Well, we've dealt with giant flesh spiders, people with superpowers, the government, demogorgans, demo dogs and possessed citizens, what more does it hurt to check vampires off the list?" He joked.

"Delilah is strong, I know that, I've seen her, and I'm gonna fight to save her all I can but I know her, she's gonna fight to survive harder than anyone in this RV."
