12. Secret revealed

After the three hours long meeting we went out of Mr Lee's office. He was a very kind man he ordered food for me and he was also very nice to me. We became friends instantly but as we were chatting Aaron said that we had to leave and so that's why I also have to bid goodbye to Mr Lee. He told me that I can come to his office whenever I want he was very interested in my town's life as he is also from a small town so that was mainly the reason to why we both clicked.

"Now where are we going?" I asked as we were walking through the hallway.

"We are going to studio" Mason told me when Aaron completely ignored me. I wasn't paying attention when I bumped in to a girl, a very taallllll girl. I looked up to see her glaring at me with hatred, I too glared back at her with equal hatred.

"Are you blind girl?" She hissed at me.

"No I am not but I think you are" I retort back.

"Did you just talk back at me? Do you even know who my father is?" She tried to threaten me, I scoffed.

"No! why? your mother doesn't tell you" I said and her mouth was agape, I think she is one of those bitchy girls who thinks that they are over the world. I saw Aaron and Mason trying to hide their smile on my comeback, I felt a little proud but the girl standing infront of me took it to her heart and she raised her hand to hit me but before I can even do anything a hand stopped her.

"What do you think you are doing?" Aaron glared at her.

"Don't you see how this girl is talking to me?" She screeched in her irritating voice.

"You were rude to her first" Aaron countered and she went silence.

"Leave it Aaron! Do you know after how many days I am seeing you. I missed you babe" she said in seductive tone and I feel like throwing up, she was leaning over him and was running her fingers on his arms. Aaron took a step back but didn't said anything

"When is your mom coming?" She asked. When Aaron didn't answered Mason spoke.

"Miss Rachel will come back after two months, Miss Lola" he told the girl who barely glanced at Mason as her eyes were on Aaron.

"Oh really" she said.

What are you doing tonight?" She asked Aaron with a seductive smile as if she implying something which I didn't understand.

"I am busy" he said and freed himself from his grip as he went out of the building, Mason and me both followed him, I gave a death glare trying to imitate Aaron's one which seems so deadly but I think I wasn't that successful but it was enough to scare her as she look away after rolling her blue eyes. She is beautiful I will admit that but she is a cold hearted person.

We sat in his car and drove to studio which was an hour long drive away. We all went into the building, I was running as the both guys are so tall and their one step counts for my two steps. I had hard time keeping up with them. I was huffing and puffing as I was out of breath. We went into a studio room, there were already few guys sitting there. Aaron sat at the free chair beside them as they both greet them.

"You are ready to see the whole video?" The guys who's name was Frank said and Aaron nods.

"Come here" Mason said pulling me to empty chairs behind Aaron as we both sat there. After a minute a video played, Aaron's new music video which he shot in my town in my garden. It looked so good!

"Wow" it came out of my mouth involuntarily.

"Do you like it?" Aaron asked and I nod excitedly.

"Yes look how beautiful my garden looks" I told them happily and Aaron rolled his eyes at me.

"I am looking much better than them, they are looking good because of me" he said with proud and I scoffed.

"Whatever let you sleep at night" I said and he glared at me which I completely ignored and bring my focus back on the video. They were different snippets of the shots that were taken in my garden and in the fields in town. Suddenly I missed my town and my family! I looked down at my phone.

"I will be right back" I said and went out of the room, I leaned on the wall beside the door. I dialed Max's number and he picked after three rings.

"Hello" he said and I felt tears in my eyes.

"Hello! Who's there?" He asked again when he didn't hear anything from my side. After a long silence he spoke again.

"Alzena baby girl is that you? Where are you? Are you okay? Do you know how worried we are for you? Please come back home? No wait tell me your address I will come to get you..." He was rambling when I intervened.

"Maxie I am okay and I am safe here. You don't have to worry about me. I only called you to tell you that I am okay and happy whereever I am and I don't want to come back anytime soon." I told him and he sighed.

"Doll you don't know how city people are. They are very bad people and you are too innocent for them. Please come back!" He pleaded.

"Max you of all people should be on my side" I complained.

"Alzena you know that I have always supported you in everything but this... I can't" he said.

"Then listen to me I am not coming back anytime soon" I said with anger.

"Alzena" he said eagerly

"Please don't do this" he said.

"Please support me in this, I will never do anything like this ever again. I will come back soon just take care of grandpa for me" I requested.

"He is very upset with you alzena, I have never seen him so angry before" he told me and I felt really bad.

"But I don't want to marry Carlos or anyone for that matter" I whined.

"Carlos is a perfect guy for you, he will always tale care of you and you also knew that this day will come in future. You and Carlos were always meant to be" he tried to reason, he is right even if I don't feel anything for Carlos I knew since childhood that we will get married once we grow up, it was a given. It's like its already planned and decided.

"I know but it's so soon I don't hate him but marrying at this age Is something I don't want" I said.

"You should have talked to grandpa you know that he always listens to you" he said.

"Yes I know, I am sorry. I acted out so rashly but I promise you, I will come back soon" I told him.

"Promise?" He asked and I smiled

"Promise" I said.

"Okay then I will handle everything here you fulfill your dream there" he told me and I felt so loved.

"Thank you Maxie you are the best brother in this world" I yelled in glee.

"I love you little sister" he said.

"I love you too big brother" I said.

"Take care and tell me if you need anything" he said and then we said goodbye. As I turned around to go inside I jumped in surprise when I saw Aaron standing behind me probably listening to everything.

"What are you doing here? You scared me." I shouted in surprise

"You didn't tell me you ran from your own marriage" he gritted in anger.
