32. Leaving

After 2 hours Aaron came in my room, he sat on the chair beside my bed. I didn't glance his way even once, I was looking outside through the window.

"Alzena" he called me.

"Alzena please love listen to me" he said taking my hand in his. I look in his direction, he took it as a permission and start talking.

"You are misunderstanding everything, it's not what it looks like.." He said.

"You were going to purpose Carol that day?" I asked him and he looked at with a hunt of surprise.

"What? No, how did you ..." He looked like he is offended over something.

"She showed me the ring that you bought for her, well congratulations" I hissed in distaste and he was looking at me wide eyes.

"No Alzena you are wrong that's not what was happening, it was you who I was going to pur...." I cut him off.

"Just shut up Aaron, you think I am stupid. You think I am going to believe you, I give you that chance. I wanted to believe you, I asked you if you loved me but you didn't answer me. You made me believe that you loved me, I know you haven't said that with your mouth but ...No! May be it was all my illusion I was desperate enough to think you love me and there is something more than friendship between us. I should have known when I saw you with Carol first time, how you always take her side in front of me. I know it is all my mistake, I am responsible for everything that happened to me" I was shouting at that point.

"It's my fault that I love in a fairytale world because in reality there is nothing like that, there is no Prince in reality there are only guys like you who play with girl's emotions. And you Mr Aaron Ray Ford broke my heart and I hate ... you for that. I will always hate myself for loving you" I cried out.

"Thank you for making me realize that this is the real world this is not some fairytale where I will find my Prince and will live happily after. Thank you for making me realize that I am no one special." I said stepping out of the bed and away from him.

"Now leave I don't want to see your face ever again. I wish you a good life with your lover ... Carol. You both surely deserve each other" I said and went out of the room.

"Please don't leave me" I heard him whispered before I went out

All my belongings are here by Anna, I told her to bring me my things. When I went out of the room and towards the exit. I saw a familiar face getting out of his car. When he looked at me his worried face saaged in relief but a frown came when he saw my bandaged head and my sling arm. I ran towards him and hugged him. I start crying hysterically.

"Please take me home" I whimpered.

"Please take me back home, Maxii. I don't want to live here, I hate city, I hate it" I said and he caressed my head gently.

"Hey Zena babygirl, you are okay. Don't worry I will take you back." He kissed my forehead.

"Let's go we are going back" he said and pull me towards his car. As I was about to sit I heard Anna's voice from behind.

"Alzena" she called out, I looked back all four of them were there Mason, Anna, Rose and Miranda. Anna had my suitcase with her.

"You are leaving without meeting me" she said in a sad voice. I shake me head and went to hug her.

"You will be okay" she said and i just nod because only I know that nothing will be okay ever again.I hugged all of them, once I moved to Rose.

"Alzena please listen to Aaron he lov.." I cuts her off.

"Please Rose I don't want to hear about him, I think I have been hurt enough" I said.

"But.." Miranda started saying.

"I am leaving" I said and went to sit in the car. After a while max came inside on the driver seat after thanking them for taking care of me and putting all my luggage inside the car. He started driving and there I saw him standing in front of the hospital. But what surprised me most was the tears coming out from his eyes. I instantly looked away from gaze, I won't believe him ever again. This chapter is closed and my fairytale is tragically over.

When I reached back in town my whole family was standing outside the door probably waiting for me. One glance at grandpa and I curse myself for ever leaving him. I ran in his arm and cried a lot. It seems my tears are never-ending, is my life going to be like this now just crying over something that was never mine to begin with. Aaron's was Carol's from the beginning, I was the one who came between them.

"My little princess, don't cry" Pa cooed.

"I will never leave you grandpa, I am sorry" I said in between my crying.

"Let's go inside sweetie" he said taking me inside in my room. He laced me down on my bed and covered me with the blanket.

"You have to sleep, we will talk later" he said as he kissed my forehead. I closed my eyes wanting to sleep away my pain and that did the deed as I fell into deep sleep.

It's been four days since I am back here, all these days I have been locked in my room. I refused to meet anyone. I heard that Carlos came to meet me even Rachel came but I said I don't want to meet anyone. Only max and pa can come in my room because they are the only people who knows what happened to me in city. My pa wanted to kill Aaron when he heard how he played with my feeling. He told me first heartbreak Is always the worst one but with time pain goes away. That's why I am waiting for it to go away. Sometime it's too much, I think I would die. Everything reminds me of him, I looked at his neck chain that he gifted me. I caressed the letter A his initials and mine too. I wore it around my neck, I loved him what if he didn't my love was real for him. I think I can never forget him.

A knock on the door came and this time I let in the person who came.

"Hi" it was Carlos.

"Hi" I said in a small voice.

"Want to go out with me?" He asked me put of nowhere.

"What?" I asked confused.

"Please" he said giving me his hand, with a sigh I took his hand with my other hand that wasn't in sling and we went out. He was taking me towards my garden. I haven't come here since I come back, i thought my flowers would be ruined and wilted now that I wasn't there to take care of them but what I saw was my blooming flowers, it looked still so beautiful and so taken care of.

"I took care of them for you" he said and then took me towards the new flowers that he brought for me from city, they were also bloomed and looked so beautiful making my garden look ten times more beautiful.

"Thanks Carlos" I genuinely thanked him but he couldn't make myself to smile. This was the place where I met him for the first time.

"Alzena I know what Aaron did was .." He started but I cut him off.

"Carlos do you still want to marry me?" I asked him all serious now.

"What?" He asked me.

"Answer me" I said.

"Yes but ..." He started but I cut him off again.

"Then marry me" I told him.
