2. Carlos

I stood there with Max for about an hour behind the barricade which is placed around the set so that no one can pass it. I haven't seen him yet and I am dying too! There are so many people around here, it looks like the whole town is here especially the girls. They are Here for him and I am getting jealous now, the way they are talking about him like he is some piece of candy. Idiots! I scoffed when I heard one of the girl say that she would make him fall for her with just a glance. I wanted to laugh at her but I stopped, I don't want to sour my mood just because of some delusional girl.

"When is he coming?" I asked Max for the nth time but he just shrugged not knowing himself, he had asked some crew member who told us that Aaron would be here in a moment.

"I am getting tired now" I whined and he pat my head gently.

"Let's go we can come back again, he is here for weeks so.." He said and I shake my head immediately.

"No way I am not going without seeing him, I want to be the first one to see him" i sighed dreamily and he chuckled at my antics.

"Baby girl you are drooling " he said with a laugh and I jab my elbow in his stomach. He groaned at that, serves him right! I huffed

After waiting for an hour more, a guy came out of the vanity where Aaron is. He came to the person who I think is a director and he told him something to which director get a little angry but still he told everyone to pack up. All people in the crowd groaned in disappointment and I stood there in sadness.

"No this can't...." I said with few tears in my eyes.

"Hey its okay we will come back later,okay?" Max said and I glanced away from him trying to contain my tears. I was so excited to finally meet him and now I have to wait for another day.

"Alzee you will be the first one to meet him, I promise you baby" Max cooed to which I believe him, he never break his promise. He is my brother who does anything for me, we are always close since childhood. We both share a bond that I have never seen between cousins or siblings.

"Okay promise" I said pointing my pinky finger towards him, he laughs a little bit then bring his pinky finger to mine to make the deal.

"Let's go..." He said but was stopped by a call on his cellphone, he answered it with a wide grin after seeing the name. I didn't get to see who it was but from his reaction I know who he is! It's his best friend and my friend too. Carlos!

"Wait!You are back? When? Where? Okay we are coming" he said cutting the call and turn towards me

"Carlos is back, let's go to his place" he said pulling me towards his bike and sitting me down on it like I am some child.

"When did he came back? He didn't tell me" I said a little hurt that he didn't tell me this time before coming. He lives in the city for past 6 years with his mother to complete his studies. He is a doctor and a very good one at that! He is my best friend after Stefanie, who is my best friend forever! Carlos parents are separated so he lived with his father and his younger brother live with his mother. I haven't seen them before, they used to live here together but her mother liked the city life and she wanted to become an actor and Carlos's father didn't supported her decision hence they separated. Carlos was only five at that time and I wasn't even born then!

We have known each other for years now as they are our neighbors and he is the same age as Max so they are best friends. I am excited to meet him, he is so caring and loving towards me which always made me feel safe around him. He would always buy me so many things from the city as he very well knows my love for the city. I am excited to see what he had bring this time for me.

We reached infront of his house and I hopped off the bike running towards the home. As I was about to knock on the door it opened revealing my favourite person right now.

"Carlos!" I said and hugged him, he return the hug with equal happiness.

"Why didn't you tell me that you are coming?" I complained pulling away from the hug.

"It was so sudden, I didn't had the chance to tell anyone. Even dad also didn't know that I am coming" he told me while hugging Max as he came to where we were after parking his bike.

"How are you mate?" Max asked him and Carlos replied him with a little frown.

"Alright" he said, I took that as a queue to pull him inside by his arms.

"Tell me what you bring for me this time?" I asked him while looking at him, my excitement was on a different level.

"Actually Alzena I forgot to bring you something, it was so sudden so I just.." as he was saying, I pouted at him and turned around and sat on the couch where his dad was sitting watching our interaction silently.

"He didn't bring me anything" I complained to Mr Richard as he put his arms around my shoulder and scolded Carlos for forgetting my gift.

"Carlos why didn't you bring anything for our princess?" He asked him with a raised eyebrow. He treats me like his daughter.

"Dad I forgot" he told us and I glared at him.

"I am not talking to you ever" I cross my arms on my chest not even sparing him a glance.

He then left the living room and went to his room. I looked at his retreating figure with open mouth. He didn't even apologize! That's not like him! I sighed and looked down at my hands. After a minute or two I saw someone standing beside me, I looked up to see Carlos standing with a small box in his hand and a soft smile on his face. He kneeled infront of me and placed the box in my hands that were on my lap.

"I can never forget you!" He said with a deep voice and looked at me with love.

"Wow! What is it? Wait I will open it, You really got me back there.." I said chuckling while opening the packed box, I gasped at the thing inside the box. It was a very beautiful bracelet with eiffel tower charm dangling from it. Everyone knows how much I love Paris and he brought me this, it's s-so thoughtful!

"It's so pretty" I breathed out eyeing the bracelet in my hand.

"Shall I?" He asked pointing towards the bracelet and I nodded excitedly. He fasten it around my wrist and it looked so good, so elegant.

"I am never going to remove it" I said with finality smiling at him, he smiled softly and was gazing me intently.

"Thank you Carlos" I said and hugged him again.

"I forgot to tell you Aaron Ray Ford is here! Can you believe it" I told both Richard and Carlos excitedly, both of them gave each other a look and then smiled at me.

"You must be happy!" He said.

"Happy? I am over the moon" I yelled standing up.

"Yeah I can see" Carlos murmured with a sigh.
