31. A decision

There was dark around I tried to find light but there wasn't any. I start walking towards a random direction carefully not wanting to fall down. I walked and walked until I saw a bright light. It was illuminating and for a moment I couldn't open my eyes. I ran towards the light there was door ahead I opened the door and saw a huge garden full of different flowers, some of them I haven't seen before. I looked around there was no one then I heard voices.

I walked towards the direction of voices and I saw a family man, woman and there daughter. The father and the daughter were playing and mother was standing on the side watching them with a smile. When I look closely I realise it was me and my parents. I gasped on surprise just them the woman saw me and her eyes widen upon seeing me. She ran towards me and took my face in her palms.

"Baby what are you doing here? You shouldn't be here right now" she said in panic. I looked at her confused.

"Mom" I whispered out and her eyes filled with tears.

"Oh my God I can't believe I seeing you after all these years, I missed you" she hugged me and I felt so happy and at peace at that moment. I hugged her not wanting to let go of her afraid if I leave her I will loose her again.

"I missed you too mom, I don't want to live without you. I want to live here with you" I told her and she moved away breaking the hug.

"No baby you are too young to be here, you have to go back" she said and I shake my head no.

"No mom I don't have anyone there, no one loves me and the people who loved me I hurt them now they must hate me" I said and she looked at me lovingly.

"No baby girl no one can hate you" it was my dad who also came near me and kissed my forehead.

"You can't stay here, you have to go back" he said and then both my mom and dad pushed me in another direction.

"Go now, hurry" mom shouted when I didn't move. I walked to that direction still looking back at them, they were smiling at me.

"We love you" my mom said and then they vanished and I was somewhere else. It was cliff, I was slipping away from the edge.

"Help" I yelled just then I was about to fall to hands came to my help. One was Aaron and other was Carlos.

"Alzena hold my hand" Aaron shouted.

"Here" Carlos said pushing his hand towards me, I don't know whose hand to take.

"Hurry love, we don't have much time" Carlos said. I couldn't make a decision at time I was looking at both of them not knowing what to do. I closed my eyes and I felt myself being pulled by someone. I don't know it was but when I opened my eyes this time I was in a room with white walls. It was a hospital room, I was breathing heavily and there were two nurses and a doctor around me they were saying something but I couldn't hear them. I felt so tired so I closed my eyes again.

After sometime when I woke up again I felt someone clutching my hand in theirs. I looked to the owner of the hand it was Aaron he was sleeping on a chair beside my bed. His hairs were tousled and his eyes had dark circles around them. I groaned when I felt immense pain in my head, I rubbed my head with my free hands which was attached to an IV. I felt movement beside me and I saw Aaron was awake and he was looking at me with an unknown emotion.

"Thank God you are awake, you sacred me Lioness" he said and kissed my hand. He has a relieved smile on his face.

"Wait I will call the doctor" he said and pressed the button on the side of me bed.

"I " I started but coughed badly, my throat was dry.

"Here drink this" he said helping me to drink water. I gulped the whole glass of water and then he laid me down carefully. The doctor came inside and start checking on me.

"Do you feel any pain?" He asked me and I nod pointing towards my head.

"I will give you some medicine you have to take all of them on time" he said and I nods.

"You have a minor concussion and broken arm, other than that you are fine" he told me and I nods looking at my plastered arm.

"How long was I unconscious?" I asked him.

"For a week" he told me and my eyes widen.

"Don't worry you are fine now, everything is fine" he assured me and then went out.

"Are you okay?" Aaron asked me once the doctor leave, he was staring at me all this time but I didn't want to face him. I don't want to talk to him hence I didn't answer his question.

"Alzena love" he called but I looked away from him.

"My little Lioness please talk to me, I have missed you so much. This past week was hell for me" he said but I closed my eyes.

"I want to sleep" I told him still closing my eyes, he took a deep breath.

"Okay, sleep" he said but didn't move from his place. I don't know when I actually slept.

"Come on eat some more, I want it to be empty" Miranda said as she was feeding me the soup. It was so plain with zero spices.

"I hate it" I complained for the nth time.

"But it contains all the nutrition that you need" Anna said from behind, she was packing my bag, tomorrow I will be discharged from the hospital. Its been a week since I woke up from my short term coma and I have been quite since then. I don't like to talk to anyone if it's not something necessary.

They tried to talk to me all of them Anna, Mason, Rose, Miranda, even Lilly but I don't felt like talking to any of them. Aaron never left me alone first 3 days but when I kept ignoring him he understood that I don't want him around me. He comes still but mostly when I am off to sleep. I had made a decision for tomorrow!

"Anna can you please give me my phone" I said when it was only me and her in the room. She gave me my phone.

"I want you to do something for me" I said and she looked at me.

After she was gone I looked at my phone dialing the number from my contact. He picked it at third call.

"Hello" I said and then told him something that I didn't know I would but now it seems it's only the best decision for me.
