Ruby's POV.

As I made my way down the hall, I could not stop thinking about that girl sapphire! I believe her name was sapphire? Anyways I wonder if she still remembers me? It would have been nice to know one person. "Oh, Well."  I looked around for the main office.

I was irritated cause not only was I knew, and had no clue where I was going! I also got lost and had to turn around and go the opposite direction; I finally found my way to the office after what seemed to be a good six minutes of being clueless damn, this school was too big for no reason.

I stepped into the room that smelled like fresh paint and paper, and not to my surprise at all, it was like any other main office, plain and boring, with a lot of chairs and small side tables just randomly everywhere.

I walked up to a woman with fuzzy red hair and giant glasses that was at the front desk typing away at her computer,   "Hey, I'm new here." I stood there awkwardly, waiting for an answer back.

"Hello, dear." She smiled at me kindly,  "Give me a sec, dear." I stood there holding my bag, still awkward as ever; the Lady typed something into her computer and printed something out.  "Your file is right here." She stapled a few sheets of paper together and handed them to me along with a bit of hallway slip.

I hate Spanish. I was so bad at it! Why couldn't they give me a study hall or anything else?  I looked back at my papers again to see what room I have to go to for Spanish

"Room 113..."  I walked down the hall a couple of times, reading the room numbers, when I finally found it on my way back to the main office to complain that I couldn't find the room. How unfortunate.

Wow, I'm stupid. I've walked past that door like seven times. I wasted fifteen minutes of my life that I don't think I can ever get back.

I walked over to the door, putting my hand on the door handle opened it. All heads turned towards me. I gulped, swallowing the anxiety; I put my head up and walked in. The first thing I notice was that girl with blue hair. She looked up from her notebook and right at me; I swear my heart would have leaped out of my chest if it could.

I looked away, slightly blushing! Good thing nobody can see my blush, "And who might you be?" A stern voice sliced through the thick air, "Your new student."  I stood there in front of the whole class, probably looking like an idiot, but it's whatever. I'll get over it later.

"Where is your slip?." My new teacher asked slightly suspiciously; taking my note out of my folder, I handed him the neon green slip. He took it and looked it over, then threw it in the trash bin.

"Class, let's welcome ruby." He looked at me, "You can have a seat by Sapphire." I looked over at her, and again, my heart started up; she smiled at me then moved her stuff over to sit. I tried to make my way over to where I'm supposed to sit when some boy stuck his foot out trying to be the cool class clown. Luckily, I have some fantastic skills and avoided it, or I would have fallen on my face in front of everyone.

I couldn't help but have this warm feeling in my chest area and the rush of butterflies in my stomach. Sapphire look over at me, then spoke up, "We never got to meet officially."  Her pearly white teeth gleamed at me. I shook her hand and smiled back, "I'm Ruby." I sat down in the intricate marble chair and pulled my book out from my bag.

"Well, I'm Sapphire." She opened her book and started filling out the worksheet she is was working on when I walked in. Still, I, on the other hand, had no clue what we were doing, I could feel myself drift out into space as I started to think about anything other than school, but I still managed to write down everything on the board just in case I needed it for later.
