Did challenge where I had to do the wordle and then write a story incorporating them which explains the weird word choice and story thing in general. Pretty fun challenge you should try it!

Dear Diary,

I've been on this ship for less than a day and I've had to stop myself from vomiting. I'll be on this ship for a week or maybe more depending on the weather so I've decided to write in this diary. While it hasn't stopped me from retching hopefully It'll help the time pass quicker. At the moment I am laying on my berth, after almost breaking my skull while attempting to swab the deck, I've been banned from being above deck. Despite my incompetence on the ship and even more at sea, I am an actually an explorer. I've been paid a hefty sum to find a golden salet, I've been warned it's 'cursed' but most of the time that's just a story to scare people from stealing I mean finding ancient artifacts.

To be frank, my diary, this is my first adventure, my business isn't quite as successful as I had anticipated. I left my home and decided to not pursue a higher education. My calling was not in schools, my head in the books but instead out in the great outdoors, seeing the sights, and to earn money if I must be honest. Sadly nobody else believed that as true and I ended up going from person to person and door to door asking if someone needed me to find something for them or explore. To find a silver lining to losing the building it did help my rather non existent social skills. Then while I was counting my earnings: some bronze, some silver and a button, an old man approached me and asked for my help.

He invited me into his home, fed me a good meal and then told me the job he wanted done. He showed me a letter, supposedly from his grandfather. It was crimped and wrinkled though it was legible. Apparently he once found the golden salet and was supposed to bring it home but he never did. I'd have to travel far, way farther than the usual town to town jobs. Though when I mean usual I mean monthly so maybe other country jobs are what's expected. I was about to walk out with bread rolls stuffed in my bag until he showed me the price. I would not pass that up.

Now though I wished I passed it up. I need to.

Sorry it seems I have vomited. I guess journaling wasn't as helpful as I thought it'd be. Now I should stop and ask for a towel, I wouldn't the vomit to stain what I wrote.
