He reversed out of his parking spot and drove towards to the exit of the parking lot. Mr Caid's car followed behind us.

"Did you know he'd be here?" I asked Andy and he nodded.

"What is your plan here Andy?" I asked him.

"He left you alone when you were with Ronnie right?" he asked and I nodded, "My plan started the moment we left class. Linking arms with you in front of everyone, we need him to believe we are together, what better way than to get people talking about us? With those girls we passed, the rumor we are together is going to spread like wild-fire across the campus before the end of the day. He needed to see us too, which is what now was all about. We are also going to the café that most of the faculty members go to during lunch. We're going to put on a little show for him." he said.

"And then?" I asked.

"And then I'll pay him a little visit at the library tonight." he replied as he clenched his fist around the steering wheel.

"You know... you can't assault a teacher." I told him and he chuckled.

"Don't you worry your pretty head over that." he said as he turned into the parking lot of the café.

I saw Mr Caid's car pull up next to us and Andy killed the engine.

"I'm going to kiss you again. Just letting you know so that you don't look as surprised as you did just now. We have to make it believable." he said as he looked at me.

"Okay." I said as my heart picked up its pace.

"Wait, I'm going to open your door for you." he said as he got out the car.

He rounded the front of his car and opened my door for me and held his hand out to me. I placed my hand in his and he gently pulled me out of the car. He linked his fingers in mine and lead me past Mr Cain and to the entrance of the café.

We entered and a took a seat in a fairly exposed booth. Mr Caid took a seat at a table with other faculty members, he had full view of our table.

"He's watching us." I said and Andy reached over the table to place his hand on mine.

"Why are you going to such lengths to get him to leave me alone? This plan of yours... what happens after you see him tonight?" I asked him and he rested his chin on his other arm that was on the table as well.

"Well, we'll have to keep up appearances for a while." he said.

"You mean fake date?" I asked and he grinned.

"Is that okay with you?" he asked me and I nodded.

"People are going to think I dumped Ronnie to be with you." I stated.

"And?" he asked as if he was unbothered.

"They're going to label me as a slut and you as a home-wrecker." I said and he pulled a fake 'oh no' gesture.

"You wont believe how liberating it is to not give a shit about what people say about you." he said.

A waiter came to our table to take our orders. We both ordered a coffee and a stack of pancakes to share. When she left Andy reached across the small table to tuck a stray hair behind my ear before cupping my face. I felt myself blush and Andy flashed a smile at me. He leaned across the table about 3/4 of the way to me and I leaned in the last bit until our lips met. I was about to pull away but he held onto my face as he deepened the kiss.

"What the actual fuck is this?" I heard Ronnie's ask as he stopped at our table.

We pulled away from each other and both stared at Ronnie in shock.

"Radke, now is not the time for this. Leave. Please." Andy said as he looked over quickly to Mr Caid.

"What the fuck is going on here? Did you dump me because of me cheating on you last year or did you dump me so that you could get with Biersack?" he asked, raising his voice.

Andy stood quickly and towered over Ronnie, his eyes glaring into Ronnie's.

"Unless you want the rest of your face to match your nose, I suggest you move along. What's going on here has absolutely fucking nothing to do with you." he threatened through clenched teeth.

"You have some nerve Biersack. You think you can just come here, break us up and claim her as your own? Who the fuck do you think you are?" he spat out at Andy who flexed his jaw and moved closer to Ronnie.

Ronnie backed up, obviously intimidated by Andy's demeanor.

"This isn't over Biersack, you watch your back." he said before he sauntered off.

Andy sat down and sighed. "I didn't expect him to be here as well. I'm sorry if that embarrassed you." he said before our coffees arrived.

I shook my head and he visibly relaxed. I added sugar to my black coffee and stirred it.

"You don't drink sugar with your coffee?" I asked him and he shook his head.

"Fuck no. I like my coffee dark and bitter, just like my soul." he said as he smiled.

Moments later our pancakes arrived. I grabbed the syrup and was about to pour it over the hot pancakes when Andy grabbed ahold of the container stopping me. He took a few pancakes off the pile and put it on his empty plate before he let go of the container.

"What? You don't eat syrup either?" I asked him shocked.

"I'm not a big fan of overly sweet things. The pancakes are sweet enough without the liquid sugar." he said.

"You're weird." I said to him and he laughed.

"Thank you." he said sarcastically.

We ate in relative silence, small talking in between bites and I couldn't help but gaze at his lips. His lips were so soft and some part of me longed to feel them again. He smiled as he realized I was staring at his lips. I turned away and blushed a bright red only to make eye contact with Mr Caid who looked pissed off.

Andy put his hand under my chin and turned my face to face his again before he brought his lips down on mine. I gasped and he shoved his tongue into my mouth. I felt butterflies in my stomach as he gently explored my mouth with his tongue before breaking away from me again. His thumb caressed my red cheek and my heart thumped hard in my chest.

"Let's go." he said as he stood, he placed a few notes under his mug and took my hand, leading me out of the café and back towards his car.

He opened my door for me and I got in. I sat in the passenger seat feeling shocked and a little overwhelmed. I didn't even notice him climb in and stare at me.

"You good or was that a little too much?" he asked smiling.

I turned to look at him, still feeling a little flustered. I nodded my head, not sure if I could trust the stability of my voice. He didn't look convinced but started the car anyway. We drove back to campus and made our way over to our last class of the day hand in hand.
