"What's up?" I asked Evelynn.

"So I think Candy is cheating on me. The whole point of going to the mall is to sus out this new 'friend' of hers. We want to go to the bar after. I need you to see if you are seeing what I'm seeing. I know me and Candy are new but I really like her and I just want to make sure she is being loyal, ya know?" she said.

"Ah I see, of course I'll help." I said to her.

I sighed in relief, I thought she was going to drop some or other bomb on me. Andy looked over at me as if he was trying to read me.

"What?" I asked him and he snapped out of his trance.

"You're going to a bar tonight?" he asked and I nodded.

"Eavesdrop much?" I chuckled and he kept a serious face.

"I'm going with you." he said.

"Obviously you're going with to the bar just not to the mall. Girls only." I said and he rolled his eyes.

"You know... you can't drink too much." he said and I looked at him in annoyance.

"Says who? You going to police how much I drink?" I spoke softly.

"No. You know for the top student in this class I really thought you'd know that your alcohol consumption affects your blood." he said equally soft to avoid anyone from listening in on us.

"I know that Andy." I said and he rolled his eyes.

"Meaning it's going to taste bad." he said and realization hit me.

"So you wont feed off me if I drink too much." I asked him and he shook his head.

"Will you feed before I start drinking then?" I asked and he looked at me shocked.

"Is it so important for you to drink?" he asked.

"Don't be that guy Andy, I drink socially once in a blue moon. I know how to handle my liquor." said to him annoyed.

"I'm just saying, you'd be severely anemic and have diminished control of your body. Your putting yourself at risk." he stated.

"Risk of what Andy? I thought you were going with." I said and he just looked away from me.

"I am. But I can't fully control what I'd do to someone who would hurt you in a setting like that without exposing myself." he said.

"I don't go looking for trouble so relax please." I said and he rolled his eyes again.

Evelynn, Candy, Liv and I were all walking through the mall, trying on clothes and getting some much needed retail therapy. Evelynn was clearly over-thinking things because Candy's friend Liv was definitely straight and just seemed to be a close friend of hers. After telling Evelynn what I observed she seemed to finally relax.

We walked over to the food court and we sat down to eat at a pizza place. We were waiting for our pizza to arrive when I felt hands on my shoulder.

"Mind if we join you ladies?" Andy asked.

I turned around to see him standing with four other guys. I recognized them as his bandmates. I nodded and they all sat at our table. Andy sat next to me and slowly lifted his arm to put around my shoulders to move in closer but paused as if to check if I'd object. I offered him a small smile and he place his arm behind me and rested his arm across my shoulders. He scooted closer allowing space for Lonny to sit at the end of the seat.
