-your POV-

Someone had been following you around town for the last two hours, you were sure of it. You kept seeing the same covered figure lurking in the shadows just far enough away from you that you couldn't make out any specific characteristics. At first you had thought that it was Blitz but this being was wearing a hood, he didn't have horns like Blitz, this was someone else. You kept trying to obtain more details, pretend like you were stupidly unaware of your new shadow until you could get the golden opportunity to figure out who exactly it was.

You had purchased a good amount of things for the apartment, they'd be delivered there in a few hours. You're supposed to be there to receive them, but a part of you didn't want to return home. What if whoever this was followed you there? What if they figured out where you lived?

You pulled out your newly purchased cellphone and were tempted to call Loona, you knew her number by heart, but you didn't want to get anyone else involved until you were sure what this thing wanted with you.

The best plan of action, you figured, was to lose it and get home. You cocked your head just barley over your shoulder, just enough so you could find your target. There it was. Just to the right over behind a rack of clothes. It peered at you. You couldn't see it's eyes. It had hood over its head and a bandana wrapped around the lower portion of its face, but you could feel it's gaze stinging into your flesh. You needed a clear shot, something to throw it off it's game, and a clear escape to home.

You ducked down and continued to make your way through one of the isles, your heart thundering in your chest. Your throat was completely dry as you tried to gulp down your anxiety. You made a b-line toward the hardware area In the store, catching gazes from confused imps as you continued to try to stay low and out of sight.

You shoved a sharp pocket knife into your front pocket, a screw driver in beside it, and a switch blade into your back pocket. Whoever it was would have to be getting closer to figure out where you had went. You snagged a folded up tarp and quietly made your way around the outer isles of the store trying to sneak around whoever who had been following you.

Finally, you saw him. His hoodie was distinguishable, the bandana hung from the side of his face. You grimaced as you quietly edged closer, letting the tarp flip open in your hands. You breathed quietly and prepared yourself, you could do this, you could do this. You finally lurched toward him throwing the tarp over his body. You wrapped your arms around his legs, the tarp falling into your grasp as you grabbed and yanked him off of his balance. The strangers body clattered to the ground, yelling out profanities as you bolted away and out of the store. As you ran the man escaped from the tarp, lifted a pistol toward you, and let out three shots. One yet to your left, one to your right, and one about an inch over your head. You ran as quickly as you could down the street and toward your apartment.

The lock clicked under your touch once you finally slammed the apartment door behind you. You placed your hand over your chest feelings your heart thudding against your palm. You pressed your back against the door and let your knees buckled beneath you, your body sliding to the ground. You could still barely breathe, your mouth still as dry as sand.

Your phone fumbled in your hands, your fingers still weak with anxiety as you quickly dialed Loona's number and placed the phone to your ear. You squeezed your eyes shut.

"Please pick up, please pick up" you mumbled to the emptiness of your apartment.

"Hello? Who is this?" It wasn't Loona's voice. It was Blitz. You gulped as hot tears poured from your eyes.

"Hey...it's me, I need some help."
