It's the end of the day and the last day of the school week. You couldn't wait to get home and lay in bed reading or writing songs all weekend.

Walking out the building you notice Steve and Billy laughing about something in the parking lot and you really hope Billy didn't tell Steve about your shirtless mishap this morning as you walk towards the boys you have a crush on.

"Hey beautiful" Billy said as he watched you walk towards him and Steve. "Hey Hargrove" you reply. Still not understanding why he's been calling you beautiful all day Steve snaps you out of your mind. "Hey Y/n I have some news" Steve says.

What did you finally break up with Nancy and realize you are better off without her you thought. "What news?" You asked.

"Well, I asked Billy if he's coming Friday and he is and also he's picking you up!" Steve said smiling.

Ugh! Why Steve? Why is it so important for me to go to his party! It's gonna be the same shit it's been for years teen drinking and drugs I'll drink too much and be alone. I do like being alone but I rather be with Steve or Billy at the party.

You look at both Billy and Steve "Ummm... is that true?" You ask nervously. Being in the car with Billy won't be so bad but what will you wear.

"Yeah beautiful I'll take you to the party and we will hang out all night if you want" Billy said smiling. "I don't want to be babysat by you" you said without thinking.

Both boys look at you hurt. "No one is babysitting you Y/n! Do you seriously think that?" Steve asked while searching for your eyes.

You looked into his eyes and thought really hard on what to say without hurting them both more. "Steve you asking Billy to come to your party and to pick me up feels like I need a babysitter and Billy" you look towards Billy who now has a cigarette in his mouth "You saying you'll hang out with me all night feels like babysitting" you say.

"Not saying I don't wanna spend all night with you Billy but you are the king of Hawkins and I know your reputation is gonna tank if you are seen with me all night" you continue. You let out a breath finally after saying everything.

"I'll come to the party Steve and you can pick me up Billy but don't worry about spending all night with me you have fun being the king" you said smiling at both boys hoping what was said wasn't gonna hurt em.

Steve and Billy got really excited which was really cute you thought.

"Henderson you are the best you know that" Steve said before he walked away.

You smile at that comment and watched Steve get to his car and drive out the parking lot.

"Do you need a ride home?" Billy asked. "Sure! Dustin is gonna be late coming home and I wanna get a start on my homework" you told him.

"Nerd!" Billy said laughing while he's getting in the car. You smile and jump in the passenger seat.

You guys speed out the parking lot to home smiling and laughing.
