You notice the news on tv and see the headline: EDDIE MUNSON ACCUSED MURDER NOW FREE 

Confused by that headline you turn up the tv to listen everyone else turns to the tv too in silence. 

"This is Bob Narly from NBS (Next big story) standing next to me is officer Paulson" Bob looks at the officer "So officer care to explain why an accused murder is free and not behind bars?" 

Officer Paulson looks at the camera nervously "why yes I can as it saddens me that we thought we had Chrissy Cunningham's killer we never did." he continues "Mr. Munson didn't kill her as we thought he did fit the profile tho with how he dresses and the D&D cult he is in. We thought he killed Chrissy for his cult til we found out the truth." 

Does officer Paulson know about everything? The Upside Down and monsters you and the gang been dealing with for years? You continue to listen "We apologize to Eddie Munson and his family we the police department didn't mean to put ya'll thru that and we also apologize to Chrissy Cunningham's family we promise to never stop looking for your daughters murder."

After officer Paulson gets done talking Bob gets back on the mic "Thank you officer for that statement and also thank you for all the hard work you and the police department have been doing I hope you find the culprit."

You smile at everyone excited to know that Eddie is a free man like he should have been to begin with. What happened to Chrissy infront of Eddie was honestly a freak accident Vecna killed her not him but now since everyone who watches the news will know too. You get up to go ask the nurse at the front desk if there was any updates on Eddie its been a few hours and you guys should have heard something by now,

The nurse tells you good news and bad Eddie's surgery went great but he still hasn't woken up yet. Worried but happy that it went good you ask the nurse if you can see him she tells you yes and says his room is 200. You thank her and walk to Eddie's room ready to see the boy who captured your heart this year.

Eddie looks peacefully and beautiful in the hospital bed even tho he has a bandage on his left cheek you couldn't help but smile. You sit on his bed and think how stupid but brave he was for doing what he did from what Dustin told you Eddie saved him and Hawkins the town that hated him well use to hate him. 

Eddie starts to stir and opens his eye for the first time in four hours confused on where he's at and how he got there he sees you sitting on his bed. "Princess?" 

You jump after hearing his voice you see Eddie awake "omg Eddie!" without thinking you jump into his arms and hug him. Eddie coughs in pain but hugs you back "I thought I lost you Munson" you tell him crying.
