Morning Princess

                            10 am

Eddie wakes up to the sun shining and you laying on his chest. "Morning Princess" he says as you start waking up.

"Morning Eddie" you say with a smile. "Can you tell me what happened last night? I don't remember anything"

Eddie looks at you with a smile and tells you everything that happened. "Wanna get breakfast?" He asked as his stomach starts rumbling.

Laughing you reply "Yes please! Let me see if Dustin or Mom is home first" I don't want to get in trouble or questioned on why Eddie is here on Saturday or why this early. My mom knows Dustin and Eddie play D&D together but they don't know he slept in bed with me last night.

You get up and head downstairs no one seems to be in the kitchen other than a note in moms handwriting.

  "Y/n I'll be at work til 10 pm and Dustin is staying the night at Lucas's house tonight. If you get hungry there's leftovers from last night"

You put the note down and call for Eddie. "Eddie no one is here but us"

He peeks his head out your bedroom and starts walking downstairs to the kitchen. Sitting down at the table he asks "So what's for breakfast?" You think for a sec and thought of a perfect thing hopefully Eddie will like it.

"How do you feel about pancakes?" You ask.

Eddie looks up at you from the table "Perfect! I thought you were gonna suggest cereal tbh" you laugh at him. "I mean it could be cereal if you prefer"

"No no Princess you said pancakes and I haven't had that in forever" Eddie said with sad puppy dog eyes. You couldn't help staring into his eyes and thinking you want to kiss him... again even tho you don't remember kissing last night.

"Okay I'll make pancakes Munson don't keep doing the puppy eyes. It's my weakness!" You told him smiling.

Looking around in the kitchen you find the skillet and ingredients for the pancakes. Not thinking you forgot to ask Eddie if he wanted plain pancakes or chocolate chip so you made both.

You made 6 pancakes 3 plain and 3 chocolate chip hoping it's enough for both of you. You grab the pancakes and plates before walking to the table. "Would you like something to drink to?" You ask.

Staring at the pancakes trying not to drool Eddie asks "Do you have milk or orange juice?"

"Let me look" walking to the fridge you find milk but no OJ sadly. "I have Milk is that okay?" You ask while pouring yourself a cup.

"Milk is fine. Thank you princess" Eddie said smiling.

You pour Eddie a glass a milk then start walking to the table. "Let's eat" you both say.

Eating pancakes with Eddie felt nice you never cooked for anyone but Mom and Dustin. "How is breakfast?" You ask nervously.

"Delicious! Thank you!" Eddie said happily. "I didn't know you cooked Princess"

You look at Eddie "My dad taught me when I was younger and honestly you are the first person other than family that I've cooked for. I hope it's not too terrible"

"It's really good Princess! Maybe next time I can cook for you" Eddie said smiling. His smile brightens up the room you thought.

"Maybe you can Munson if you're lucky" you told him smiling and blushing. You feel butterflies in your stomach and this time it doesn't scare you like it sometimes does with Billy and Steve.

With Eddie you feel safe and happy. Maybe you could have a relationship with him. Maybe this year is gonna be different from the others and it'll actually be normal.

Just maybe the upsidedown, the lab and the Russians won't be a thing.
