Hopper's Cabin

El's idea was to go back to the cabin her and Hopper lived in before he died and tidy it up maybe ask Joyce after she comes back from her work trip if they can move back to Hawkins and live here. You think it's sweet but also wouldn't it hurt El being back there it was her idea but you think El just thought that so Joyce wouldn't have to find a house. 

Arygle, Will, Mike, El, Dustin, Lucas and Max pile in his Surfers pizza van while you, Billy and Steve go in the camaro. You couldn't all fit in the van and the kids wanted to talk about their adventures and since they weren't old enough to drive and Arygle wouldn't let anyone else drive it you let them go with him. Not after nicely threatening  him of course! 

"If one hair is miss placed on any of their heads when we reach the cabin I swear I will shove every single shroom you have in the van down the garbage disposal" you say with the biggest smile on your face.

 You weren't gonna hurt Arygle you were just gonna scare him enough to not hurt the kids which you knew he wasn't it was just funny seeing the look on his face.

Billy pulls out the driveway with your directions leading the way to the cabin excited to see Hopper's cabin after all this time but also sad cause you won't be seeing him. You tell Billy to make one more right turn then you'll be there the cabin wasn't that far from the Wheelers it seemed like it was just in the backyard thanks to Billy's driving. 

You watch all the trees fade as you approach the entrance wondering how El would want the cabin done up and if it's still there. Billy puts the Camaro in park and turns his car off before you and Steve step out "I'll be in there in a sec I'm gonna smoke first" Billy tells you pulling out a cigarette from the pack in his hand. You smile at him and say okay but don't be long you wanna show him around it will be the first time Billy has been here. 

Arygle and the kids pull in next and all the kids rush out with cleaning supplies in all their arms, not knowing how they got it or why there was so much of it in the Surfers pizza van you just smile and walk inside with em. Arygle hangs back to smoke with Billy hopefully Billy won't be corrupted like Jonathan was.

Steve is behind you making sure you and the kids don't hurt yourself it's been awhile since anyone has been in here. Always the babysitter you thought looking at Steve a cute protective babysitter.

Inside the cabin you see broken glass by the windows, fall leaves all over the ground and kitchen counters. Spoiled food on the broken table and beer cans everywhere, furniture like the couch was flipped and the tv was on the ground broken. This is gonna be alot of work you thought but worth it.

"Who wants to help me move the couch?" Steve asks everyone in the room "I'll help" Lucas says and walks towards the couch with Steve. They don't move it outside they just flip it back and move it a little so you and El can clean under it. The couch was still in good condition just needed some love. You guys finish cleaning the floor where the couch would go and both boys put the it back and high five like you know boys do when they show off their muscles around girls.

Billy comes inside while everyone is cleaning finally and helps you and Steve clean up all the glass while the kids clean all the leaves and trash. "Where's Arygle?" you and Steve both ask Billy "He's outside in the woods he said he wanted to see if there's shrooms around since Y/n threatened him" Billy explains laughing.

Everyone continues to clean and make the cabin more homey then it was when you guys first came in. You look around to see Billy and Steve fixing the window outside well more of block off the broken window til we actually get glass for it. Lucas, Max and Dustin moving into Hopper's bedroom to clean more trash and tidy it up if Hopper was still alive he would be thankful. Mike and Will are in the only bathroom in the house cleaning everything from the toilet to the shower. 

El looks upset and walks into her room using her powers she closes it but not all the way she leaves the door open 3 inches just like Hopper always tells her when Mike's over. You wanna go in there and hug her but you don't. El needs to be alone she never got to say goodbye to him when he died and all she has left of him is that blue hair tie he always wore around his wrist it was his daughters before she passed away at a young age.

You just stand by the door and hear El break down it honestly breaks your heart to hear her cry. She saw papa die infront of her at the lab and now back at a place she called home without a man who took care of her like a father should it broke her. 

Outside a car starts to pull up at the cabin no one else knows you are here so who could it be? 

Billy and Steve look at the car then at the cabins door not wanting whoever that is to come near you and the kids they stop working on the window and block the door. You watch this all happen from the little opening scared to see who it is but also very curious not alot of people know about Hopper's cabin right?
