You tell your mom you're going to go see about the job at Family Video before you walk out the door.

You still can't believe she quit her job and told you to get one. You are almost 18 and it is time but how are you gonna support Mom, Dustin and yourself? This is usually a parent thing not a child thing. Oh well you thought.

Maybe you can save up for a car or even enough to move out Hawkins. Both sound pretty good but would you really move out Hawkins? Your family is here, so are your friends and your boys. It would be hard leaving them all here.

You reached Family Video and step inside.

                           Bell chimes

"Welcome to Family Video! We have a lot of movies and/or games to choose from if you need any help I'm Steve so just shout for me" Steve said without looking up to see who entered the store.

"Well... Steve I do need some help I have to get a job and I saw the NOW HIRING in the newspaper" You told him.

Steve finally looks up and laughs "Henderson! Are you stalking me?" "I'm joking! Hold on let me get Keith for you"

As you wait for Steve to come back with Keith you get lost in your thoughts.
Why did you ask if I'm stalking him! I'm not stalking anyone we just keep seeing each other. Ugh! I hate him sometimes!

"Earth to Y/n!" Robin yells waving her arms in front of you. "Are you okay?" You snap out your mind and reply "Haha yeah I'm sorry I got lost in thought"

Robin stares at you "I'm glad! Also Steve told me about seeing you in his neighborhood earlier" You laugh at tell her "Yeah I saw him I honestly wasn't paying attention where I was heading and next thing I knew I was there"

Blushing and embarrassed as Steve and Keith finally walk out the back room you straighten yourself up trying to look your best before you ask Keith to hire you.

"Y/N? Before I hire you I have 3 questions!" Keith said.

"Question 1: What are your top 3 movies?"

"Beetle juice, Nightmare on Elm Street and Clue" You answer smiling.

Keith looks at you "Okay a variety of genres I can work with that"

"Question 2: Are you single?"

Not knowing why that's a hiring question you answer Keith "I am single and no before you ask your third question I will not go on a date with you"

Steve and Robin both laugh at your answer.

Keith looking hurt asks his last question.

"Question 3: Why should I hire you at Family Video?"

You think about that answer for a little bit trying to find the perfect answer but also want to tell him the truth. Should I tell him my mom quit her job and is making me get one?

You hesitate to answer for a second then let it all out. "My mom quit her job and is making me get a job so support us. I don't know how working here will do that but I'm willingly gonna try. I'll work all hours if I need to and I'm pretty sure you need someone like Robin with better taste in movies" you look at Steve when you said that last part.

"HEY!" Steve shouts looking a little hurt.

"Also Steve, Robin and I had a lot of customers at Scoops Ahoy when we worked there. We brought in the people and I'm sure we all work here together you'll get more customers!"

Keith looks at you let's put a sigh and says "Alright Y/N as much as your remark of not going on a date with me hurt I'll hire you!"

You squeal with excitement!

"But... if you three don't bring in a lot of customers then you all are fired!" Keith said walking up to you with your new uniform in hand.

You take it and smile "Don't worry Keith we got this"
