Monday

Sadly it's Monday and you need to get up for school but instead of getting up you yell for your mom to come into your room.

"Mom! I don't feel so good!" You yell. You feel okay but you didn't want to deal with everyone at school. "Can I stay home today? My stomach hurts" you lie.

"I guess honey but I won't be home til later tonight. I have to pull a double at work I'm sorry" mom said. "It's okay" you tell her "I'll probably sleep most of the day anyways."

"Okay honey I'll see you tonight" mom said as she walks out my room. "Feel better and if you need anything call me okay"

"Okay mom love you" you say smiling under the covers. "Love you" mom replied.

You shriek as soon as you hear the front door slam and moms car starts.

Can't believe she fell for it. Mom usually checks to make sure I'm not faking or goes super psycho and try to take me to the hospital. I love my mom I do but sometimes she's a little much you thought.

What to do today? Everyone else will be at school talking about Steve's party so you can't really call friends to hang out like you actually have many friends. You only talk to Billy, sometimes Steve when he annoys you and Dustin with his D&D club. Everyone else pretty much avoids you unless Tommy does something to embarrass you.

Maybe you can read one of your favorite books or write a song. Nah... not really in the mood.

You get out of bed and get dressed for the day still debating on what to do with your "sick day" before you reach your bedroom door you hear knocking on your window.

You turn around and see Billy outside your window smiling.

"Billy? What are you doing here?" You ask after opening the window and letting him in.

Billy climbs thru with a smile on his face and answers "I was waiting for you to come outside this morning, when I didn't see you I thought to come over and check to see if you was okay." He explained. "I did wait til you're mom left tho that woman kinda scares me"

Laughing at the last remark you give Billy a hug. "Thanks for coming over and checking on me I'm okay I lied to mom about not feeling good"

Billy smiling and hugging me back longer than normal makes my heart skip a beat. "Im glad you're okay beautiful and I'm also sorry about Friday. I didn't mean to leave you alone" before he continued he let go of you and sat on your bed with his hands covering his face. "I have no excuse for doing that to you... it's just Neil got to me and I had to blow off some steam I am so sorry!" He lets out a sigh.

You stare at Billy before replying to him not knowing what to say or if you should sit next to him and hold him. "Billy... it's okay... I'm not mad at you. I honestly had fun Friday even tho Eddie had to tell me what happened."

"I'm glad Eddie was there with you. I did see you leave with him" Billy said. He removed his face from his hands and looked at you with sadness in his eyes. "Did Eddie try anything?"

You look in his eyes sad to see him so upset and wondering what's going thru his mind right now. Nothing but kissing and making out happened with Eddie but do you tell him that?

"Nothing happened with Eddie" you lied. "He brought me home and stayed the night that was all" you didn't mention the kissing and wanting to have sex with Eddie. You thought if you told him the truth it would hurt Billy more and you didn't want that.

Billy moves closer to you "I'm glad nothing happened. I was worried something did."

Why was Billy worried? I mean it's sweet that he was worried about me but Eddie is a nice guy he was the one who pulled away when I wanted to continue.

"Billy are you okay?" You ask knowing something is wrong. Billy looks so hurt and defeated right now. Is it because of you? Or did something happen at home?

You both just sit on the bed next to each other for a while in silence. Billy never answered your question and it bothered you but as you said before if he wants to talk he'll talk.
