I sat at my desk writing the letter for Rita while Pansy packed behind me.
"Hope your happy". Pansy spoke annoyed.
"I am"! I spoke softly while she stepped out of the room. I quickly folded the parchment sliding it into the light brown envelope. I smiled to myself while walking outside my dorm and quickly down the steps.
"Yeahhhh"! The big group of Slytherins yelled watching me walk down the steps making me smile while walking out of the Slytherin common room. I quickly walked down the halls towards the Owlery. I watched the snow fall nicely to the ground while walking up the icy steps to hear many owls. I started to look around for my owl walking up to her.
"Hello, darling... Bring this to Rita Skeeter's office". I whispered while holding the letter up for her to take it with her beak flying away. I stood there watching her fly off. I turned to quickly walk out onto the steps to bump into Harry.
"Sorry Harry". I whispered with a smile while walking past him.
"Umm Y/n". He whispered making me turn.
"Yeah Harry"? I asked while turning.
"Would you... Go to the Yule Ball with me"? He whispered.
"Oh... Harry I've already been asked... And I said yes"... I whispered uncomfortably.
"Oh that's-".
"Harry I really look up to you... You're my best friend... I don't see you in that way"... I whispered stepping up to hug him.
"I'm sorry Harry". I whispered while quickly walking down the steps. I placed my hands in my cardigan pockets running back to Hogwarts castle. While I ran I thought to myself feeling bad. I walked through the halls towards the dining hall having many people say hi to me. I quickly walked towards the Slytherin table taking a seat beside Draco.
"Are you excited Y/n"! Astoria asked happily.
"Yes of course.. tonight will be a night I will never forget". I whispered happily while looking over at Draco smiling to himself. I quickly placed food on my plate.
"Have you written a letter to Rita Skeeter for her new story"? I laughed.
"Yes... What did you write"? Draco asked while whispering in my ear.
"Wrote about how we will be going to the Yule Ball together". I whispered with a smile.
"Draco....Y/n". Blaise whispered with a smirk while taking a seat in front of us. I looked over at Draco to see him clearly annoyed.
"How are you, Blaise"? I asked while taking a bite out of my lunch.
"Alright". Blaise whispered while taking a bite of his food.
"Have you gotten yourself a date yet"? Astoria asked Blaise.
"Not going". Blaise whispered.
"Why Blaise"? I asked.
"It's a waste of time". Blaise whispered making Astoria gasp.
"I'm going to get ready". I whispered in Draco's ear while getting up from my seat.
"Alright, darling.. Want me to reserve us a table"? Draco whispered.
"Sure us and a select few of friends". I spoke happily while walking away towards my dorm. I quickly walked up the girl's dormitory steps to hear many girls getting ready as well. A door opened to see Daphne.
"Hey, Y/n! Do you know when the Ball starts"? She asked.
"Around seven". I whispered happily.
"Alright, thanks"! She spoke happily. I quickly walked into my dorm and grabbed multiple things to get ready.
