I walked down the halls with Harry and Ron having me listen in on their conversation.
"Why has Hermione been avoiding me these past days"? Ron asked annoyed while walking down the crowded hallways with us. I and Harry both looked at each other not knowing what to say. I quickly looked around the hallways to see many Christmas decorations all around.
"Look, I can't help it if she's got her knickers in a twist". Ron whispered making me roll my eyes.
"What Lav and I have, well let's just say there was no stopping it, it's chemical. Will it last... who knows. Point is that I'm a free agent". Ron spoke highly of himself.
"You do know Lavender is the only girl that has fancied you"? Harry laughed making me slap his arm.
"That you know of". Ron whispered while walking with us. I rolled my eyes and grabbed Harry's arm pulling him away from Ron.
"Where are you two going"? Ron spoke out.
"The library". Harry spoke out while looking back at Ron while I pulled him away.
"Ew, why". Ron spoke out.
"To talk to Hermione"! I yelled while walking down the hall towards the library.
"Are you guys serious"! Ron yelled.
"Dead serious"! I spoke out while walking with Harry down the hall together. I pushed the Library doors open to see Hermione with a stack of books, placing them on the shelves.
"Finally, you guys showed up". Hermione whispered. We quickly walked over to her.
"Are you still upset"? I asked while looking at books with Harry.
"Upset"! Hermione yelled earning many shhhs from people.
"Sorry". Hermione whispered.
"Look he's at perfect liberty to kiss whomever he likes, I really couldn't care less". Hermione whispered.
"Then why did you-"? Harry started to whisper but I quickly looked over at him.
"Don't". I whispered quickly. Hermione shook off us being weird and began talking again.
"Was I under the impression that he and I would be attending Slughorns Christmas party together"? Hermione whispered while turning to look at us.
"Why yes".. Now given the circumstances, I've had to make other arrangements". Hermione whispered.
"Have you"? Harry laughed.
"Yes, why"? Hermione asked.
"I just thought the three of us would go together as friends". Harry spoke softly.
"Why didn't I think of that". Hermione whispered while placing a book on a shelf.
"So who are you taking"? I asked.
"Ummm, it's a surprise". Hermione whispered while leaning into a desk.
"Sorry, Harry looks like you're going alone". I whispered while placing myself up on a desk.
"Wait you're not going"? Harry asked.
"No... Well maybe.. But I don't really know". I whispered with a smile. I then turned to Hermione.
"Well, you can't go alone". Hermione whispered to Harry, she then looked around and laid her eyes on something.
"See that girl over there"? Hermione whispered making I and Harry look over to see Romilda sitting by herself looking at us.
