Tomura arrived in the parking lot of the apartment complex within a few minutes, letting out a short sigh of relief once he heard the short, robotic voice of his phone say "You have reached your final destination"

He smiled to himself before taking out his phone and cancelling the Map application, going to Nezu's texts. He first tried to see if he ever got what his room number would be.

anonymous: Almost forgot! Your apartment number is 438

anonymous: You must have had a long day, take the evening to rest. You'll need the energy tomorrow, after all! I left you dinner in the fridge, hope you like gyoza.

anonymous: Oh, If you're bored, say hi to the Yamadas for me, they live in apartment 437. I'll have some students to talk to now , good night Tomu-kun! You did well. ✊🐭

Tomura felt oddly happy at seeing the messages from Nezu, probably because he wasn't used to receiving praise from anyone. Hearing that he got a perfect score, also boosted his confidence a lot.

Chuckling a little to himself, Tomura typed a quick message back as confirmation

N/A: Thanks, Dad! Should really acknowledge that I can't see your messages when I'm carrying someone and on the run though.

He made his way into the building, relaxing his shoulders and idly scratching at his neck while looking for the room number. He kept his hood up out of sheer paranoia, however. He always felt like he had to hide himself in public areas, after all.

Finding the apartment, he entered the doorway and glanced around quietly. Stepping into the room and closing the door behind him, he took his shoes off at the door and began inspecting the place. (This was a habit formed from having to stay in sketchy places like warehouses and such)

The apartment was surprisingly roomy, for the downtown location. The entrance led to a main living space, with dining table, couch, and television, and what appeared to be a small fireplace. Near the front, a small kitchen, equipped with induction stoves and an oven. A note hung from the refrigerator.

Two doors, left and right, led to the Master and Guest bedrooms, each with separate bathrooms. The former, equipped with a further television screen, and large windows that overlooked the complex's inner courtyard. A Nintendo Switch lay under the bed; beside it, a small unlabelled cardboard box.

Tomura nearly had a heart attack at seeing the Switch. Something he had desperately wanted for ages, was just placed right in front of him without any warning. It shocked a smile onto his face before he turned his attention to the box.

The villain pulled the box out from under the bed, pinky fingers lifted as always. He took a curious glance at the box's bland exterior before hesitantly opening it with care.

Tomura's inserted chip gave a small buzz, as soon as his hands opened it - a small earpiece, placed on top, responded likewise. It appeared the two were connected, somehow. Below it, a pair of seemingly worn-down gloves, all 10 digits seemed to have holes in them - they didn't look like they'd be of much use, in their current state, but who knows? Finally, a thick envelope laid below.
