Chapter 45 - Kidnapping UA Students is Surprisingly Easy! Who Knew?

Evelyn walked through the mall trailing after Alice as they went into different stores looking for something for Alice to wear to Eve and Jinni's wedding

Alice led them both into a jewelry store, eyeing all the pretty necklaces that lined the shelves.

Evelyn peered over Alice's shoulder, humming "Found anything you like?"

She shook her head in response, a scrutinizing gaze traveling the different designs "not yet" she signed.

Evelyn nods "Well let's keep looking then"

Alice nodded and scoured the store with Evelyn, eventually coming across a dazzling, sapphire-adorned necklace. Alice pointed to it and caught Evelyn's attention.

Evelyn smiled "Do you want that one?"

Alice nodded, continuing to stare at it with an almost, distracted grin on her face.

Evelyn nodded to the worker at the counter and handing over some cash for it. "Would you mind wrapping this one for her?"

Once it was wrapped and put into a bag, Evelyn handed it to Alice and thanked the workers on the way out of the store "So where to next, my silent friend?" she grinned.

Alice thought about it for a moment before pointing over to one of the clothing stores.

"Alright, let's go, then." They entered the closeby store and Evelyn watched as Alice walked between the racks, looking at the colorful selection.

Alice picked a few dresses and signed as she began to head towards the changing rooms "going to try them on!"

Evelyn nodded, giving a thumbs up as she started looking through the racks herself, then turning to call out at the last moment before Alice vanished into a room "Throw something at me when you want me to look!"

"Jinni" made her way around the corner into the clothing store. Noticing Evelyn in the clothing store, she grinned. Making her way over to her "Hey~!"

Evelyn smiled and pulled "Jinni" close to her, wrapping her arms around her neck and kissing her softly "I'm guessing you saw Alice's messages in the group chat and decided to join us, love" she chuckled, releasing her hold but leaving an arm around "Jinni's" waist.

"Of course!" She wrapped her arms around Evelyn "So, how's the shopping going so far?"

She smiles and kisses her on the head "It's going well, we found a necklace for Alice and she's trying on some dresses right now. I looked at some wedding bands but I didn't really like any of them, so we can look in a couple of other shops if you'd like. I also found some decorations we could use but I'll get your opinion first"

"Sure, Let's go see them, then!" Jinni smiled back, "We should hurry, right?"

Evelyn looked at her in confusion "What about Alice, I can't just leave her here babe..." she narrowed her eyes skeptically "Is everything okay, you seem off?"

"I'm fine, Just excited is all." Jinni reassured "I'm sure Alice will find us, or if we hurry, get back before she even gets out of the changing room!"

Evelyn pulled away, wrapping her arms loosely around "Jinni's" neck, discreetly searching for the necklace she usually wore with the ring on it. Ensuring that the girl didn't realize what she was doing, "Jin, I understand your excitement and I'm excited too, but Alice and I are here together to shop and I can't just ditch her, even for you."

She gives her a small smile, leaning in close so she can whisper in "Jinni's" ear "Plus, you got a couple things wrong about my fiance... She wouldn't get me to leave Alice behind, and she would also be wearing the necklace I gave her if we were here to do wedding shopping."
