Chapter 55 - Target

Todoroki turned a corner, having excused himself a while ago inexplicably, "Sorry I've been gone, I couldn't find the bathroom.." he said, looking guilty, "What can I help with?"

Hizashi, who was still hunched over the map after an hour, glanced to Todoroki, turning a little before giving a wave.

Todoroki nodded his head in acknowledgement, before sitting in one of the available seats, his posture proper as always.

The hero took a seat, himself "God, this is complicated... it feels like we're missing something.."

"Any idea what it could be..?" Todoroki inquired. It was a stupid question for sure, but he couldn't really help much without knowing more.

Hizashi shrugged "We're not sure who this, specifically could be targeting, I guess... And that there might be some important details we're missing..."

"You mean who kidnapping these people is meant to affect? Sorry, I must have missed some things..." Todoroki rubbed at his neck awkwardly. He felt bad for missing so much, but nothing he could do now.

He gave a dismissive wave "It's alright Todoroki-san! I don't expect you to know everything... Though any information about this is good information."

"Thanks, Mic Sensei. The only person on our side who I think would have relatively up to date information about the League is Dabi, and partially Tomura.. Tomura knows All For One's mannerisms best since he was with him for so long, and Dabi only recently left to my knowledge, so he probably knows some more recent information. It may be valuable to try to contact them?" Todoroki offered. He was unsure if either of them would even be available, but if they could get in contact with them, they could get some valuable information.

Hizashi paused before nodding "That's really helpful information... Where are they, at UA still?"

Todoroki thought for a moment, before nodding, "I believe so, at least to the best of my knowledge. I saw Dabi at the library yesterday, so provided he hasn't left since then, he should still be there. Tomura also has little reason to leave so it's presumably the same for him.." he mumbled out loud, a habit he'd picked up from his boyfriend.

Hizashi nodded, standing up "I can go see if I can talk to 'em." He glanced to the student, giving a charismatic smile "Thanks, Todoroki-san!"

"It was no problem, I'm happy I could possibly help." Todoroki sunk into his chair, letting his posture loosen.

Ryukyu sighed "Do we really have time to be pondering this? The girls have been missing for 3 days now, and if we don't get either tomorrow or the day after, we could lose them."

"Especially seeing as we don't know what his plan is. We need to focus on creating a plan that we know will work and set contingencies in place, in case things go wrong but we can't do that if someone is off wondering what to do, still."

"Ryu is right. We don't have time to practice this. Sorry, but you all will need to figure it out on the run." Miruko, from beside Ryukyu, crossed her arms.

"Based off the size of this place, it's large enough to hold at least a few hundred hostages, if they're kept in inhumane conditions."

Hizashi sighed softly, "It's large enough to hold them, but I have a feeling more UA students would be missing if he was holding that many."

"Who said it was just UA students he had hostage?"

Hizashi shook his head "That wasn't my point, I mean, All For One's targeted UA for forever now, probably because of all the powerful students and staff we have. I also mean proportion-wise. It's likely there's not too many based on that ratio."
