AN: Here's a beautiful art of the aforementioned Yakitori Scene created by our writer for Tomura! I put it on this chapter so as to not spoil the topic of the last one.

The next day, Tomura was just playing pokemon again in the living room. Definitely looked much better than yesterday as he was crouched over trying to defeat a gym leader.

After receiving a text from Nezu with the location, Todoroki rode to the apartment and got to Tomura's apartment doorway, knocking twice.

Tomura got up, console in hand as he went to answer the door. Seeing Todoroki, he seemed a little intimidated and confused. "Uh... Why are you here...? Is this about your sibling or whatever you said at the mall? I don't know who the hell you were talking about, and I still don't." He hid a little behind the doorway.

"Don't worry, i'm only here to help you learn to read and write better, and apparently 'bond'. "Todoroki spoke calmly with no contempt.

"Oh. So Dad sent you." Tomura let Todoroki into the apartment "Ugh, sooner or later you're gonna bring all of UA here, arent'cha Dad." He huffed to himself quietly.

"Welcome to a place I don't think I deserve to live in, Todoroki-san. Take a seat if you want.." Tomura offered sheepishly.

"If 'Dad' is who i'm presuming he is, then yes, he sent me." Todoroki sat down in the chair, "And I'm sure you deserve it plenty, breaking free from all you've known your whole life is not easy."

"Breaking free...? That seems a bit glorified... I just got caught and thought living like this provided more benefits after Dad convinced me... Its not like I've lost all my bad habits or stopped being wary about things I shouldn't... I'm just not being told what to do as much I guess."

Tomura shut the door behind Todoroki. "Sorry, I must be rambling." He paced over and sat across from the student.

"Don't worry about it, I understand. At any rate, it was still something good you did, and habits take time to break. However, I'm not here to discuss morals or right and wrong, I'm here to teach you. So, what kind of knowledge do you have on the subject now?"

"Uh... Writing? I know Katakana and most of Hiragana." Tomura looked at Todoroki, fidgeting with his hands idly. "I'm guessing Dad heard about my trouble reading the restaurant menu last night... There were some complicated Kanji I couldn't read on the fancy stuff."

"Ok, you said 'most of Hiragana', could you show me what you know of it? from there, I can teach you what you don't know." Todo sat still in his chair, waiting for a response.

Tomura asked, going to grab a pen and paper "Okay are you talking characters, complexity, sentences...? And if anything's wrong it's because I don't write down things a lot..." He had a rather shaky hold on his pen because he couldn't grab it steadily with all five fingers, starting to drabble a bit on the paper in the hirigana he knows.

Todoroki thought for a second, before replying, "For now, just start with characters, then once I see what you know, we can go from there. Also, I may have something for you, to help with your quirk."

Tomura nodded a little, writing down a sort of chart of hirigana, pairing some up together to try and complete the alphabet. "Okay uh... what would that be..?" Tomura looked back up to Todoroki curiously.

Todoroki reached into a bag he brought, and pulled out a bag of various artists gloves, "Well, I noticed you couldn't control your quirk too well, and that if you put all 5 fingers on something, you'd disintegrate it. A friend of mine needed some artist gloves, and now I have some left over pairs. I figure they might help you to not disintegrate everything you touch, providing you can get the gloves on."
