Y/n POV

Peter and I have known each other since Dr Brenner took us both and we became surprising close, he was 001 and I was 002 together we watched Brenner take more kids for his own benefit and turn them into test subjects for his projects. There was nothing we could do for ourselves or the others, one night years ago when I and Peter had first been brought here we snuck out at night and found Brenner and some other doctor talking about how we were his test subjects for an even bigger project to come.

From that day we knew we had to escape from The Lab, so every night we would meet in secret and try and find ways to escape we formed a bond me and him one closer than just friends, there was always some romantic feeling in the air and one night it happened...we kissed just as our plan fell into place so did our relationship.

We soon found the correct way to escape, we had to remove the trackers from our next which we were able to do easily (just as El removed it in season 4), so one night at the right time we gathered our belongings and met up in a dark hallway and made our way to the tunnel we needed to crawl through to get out.

As we crawled through the sewers we were presented by the outside world as the light was at the end of the tunnel, we pushed the grate open and crawled out finding ourselves about a mile away from the lab, we smiled not realising how far away we had crawled. "We made it" Peter said as he wrapped his arms around me as we hid out in the woods for a few hours just in case, we soon found our way to the police station telling Sheriff Hopper everything that happened at Hawkins Lab, and soon enough Dr Brenner and everyone else there was arrested and all the children were returned to their parents.

Peter and I now lived together in a small house in Hawkins being happier than ever, no longer controlled by Brenner and his teams.
