Jonathans POV

I watched as she stood smiling with her friends at lunch laughing as she would occasionally spare a glance my way, she was beautiful more beautiful than anyone else in Hawkins including all the popular girls in this trashy high school.

 I strutted over to her with my camera and a smile," um... I was wondering if I could take a picture of you guys for the yearbook?", I said with a nervous laugh "Oh yeah sure go for it" she said with a slight giggle, she and her friend posed for the camera as I snapped a picture instantly. y/n looked so beautiful in this light"It looks great, thank you", I said as I went to walk away "Oh Jonathan, could we maybe see the picture?", "Oh of course", I rushed back over showing the picture to them and they looked at it with a smile and a nod "Looks great Jonathan", her friend said, I smiled at them as I put my camera away and walked away.

*After School*

"Hey Jonathan", I heard from behind me, I turned around to find y/n walking up to me as she smiled, "Hi I was wondering if maybe you'd like to go out on a date...with me?", she said as she blushed lightly, "Oh um yeah I'd love to go on a date with you", I said with an excited grin on my face. "Great, I'll see you tonight and maybe you can take some more yearbook photos", she said with a cheeky grin, "yeah um that was an excuse so I could talk to you, but I will put the photo in the yearbook", I said nervously  "don't worry I knew it was an excuse", she replied and walked away.

I watched as she walked away smiling to myself, I just got a date with Y/n L/n the most beautiful girl in Hawkins High. I walked home feeling gitty as I thought about tonight's date.
