{Chapter Three - Just You And Me}
"SORRY, THESE HIGH HEELS MADE ME TRIP TWICE TODAY." Love chuckles, looking at William.
"It's ok! I hope the first time you didn't trip and land on a person like you just tripped and landed on me." William waves it off, grabbing his iced latte.
"No, so you're lucky." Love jokes, shrugging as she grabbed her iced beverage which coincidentally happens to the exact same as his.
William laughs. "Very fun, miss. You like Carmel iced lattes too?"
"No. Well I don't know. I've never had one before so this is my first time trying it." Love giggles, looking in her purse.
"Take a sip, I'm sure you'll love it." William encourages her.
Love smiles at takes a sip, and she did like how sweet it was, it looked like a milkshake and nearly tasted like one. In her opinion. "You're right. It's amazing. I see why you like it."
William playfully bows. "I'm glad. I should get going to work now, so see you around. Possibly."
"Oh ok. Also you look very familiar. Are you William Jefferson, a man who works at a law firm somewhere in Los Angeles?" Love inquires, holding back a grin.
"Yeah. How did you know?" William questions.
"Well. I've been looking for a lawyer for my brother for I don't know how long and you popped up after I looked up 'Best Lawyers in Los Angeles." Love explains, shrugging slightly.
William looks intrigued. "Oh,well what's your brothers name?"
"Forty. Forty Quinn." Love answers, taking another sip of her latte.
"Isn't that the guy who makes movies?" William asks, raising a brow.
"Yeah." Love replies, a bit impressed about the fact that he knew that.
"I tried watching one of them but eh. Wasn't interested in watching him victimize a rapist." William remarks, causing Love to get in a debating mood.
Love scoffs, shaking her head slightly. "He wasn't victimizing anything. He was telling a story that was about sexual abuse and how most rapist act. They act as if they did nothing wrong to the male or female. If you would've watched it through you would've understood."
William looks stunned. "You should work at the law firm. You made a very valid point."
"What can I say? I love debating." Love chuckles a bit.
William nods. "Maybe we could have dinner some time? Just You And Me. Talking about debates."
That's what Love was waiting for. William gave Love what she wanted and now she has the perfect evidence she could tell Lydia about.
"Sounds like a date." Love agrees, grinning.
