{Chapter Thirty Five - Different Kind Of Friend}

LOVE WOULD CAREFULLY AND QUIETLY BREAK INTO JULIETTES HOUSE. She quickly closed the window Back down, since Juliette left it opened before she left. Which was a mistake.

She opened a drawer of a desk near the front door, and saw signed documents, signed by Delilah.

"What?" Love whispered to herself, reading the documents and files but she was soon interrupted.

"Love?" A familiar voice asked.

Love turned to face the person, grimacing. "Delilah...hey! What are you doing here?"

Delilah raises a brow. "I should be asking you the same question. I'm Juliette's lawyer so it makes sense that I'm here. And you?"

Love comes up with a lie. "She invited me over but then left." She nervously chuckles.

"I didn't realize you two got along?"

"We're working on it." Love's quick to say, lying.

Delilah scratches her forehead. "Uhm....alrighty then. Would you like me to let you out?"

"Nope, I've got it. Thanks for offering...and it was nice seeing you again." Love holds back a smile.

Delilah nods. "It was nice being around you too. You're a Different Kind Of Friend so."

That nearly puts Love on the verge of tears but then she sort of took it as a compliment so she didn't cry. "Is that a compliment or an insult?"

"Compliment." Delilah states, giving Love a slight smile.

Love smiles back before leaving and going back home. She was still curious about the documents and files but maybe it's just because Delilah is her lawyer.

Lydia calls Love at least three times until the brunette answered. "Hi, Do you need something?"

Lydia chuckles a bit. "No. I just wanted to make sure you were okay. So are you okay?"

Love raises an eyebrow. "Yes. I was just handling something but yeah. Are you Okay, Lydia? You seem a bit overly worried about something. Nervous too."

The blonde lets a shaky sigh escape from her mouth. "I guess I'm just worrying about William a little too much....like I didn't even do anything to him for him to say he wants absolutely nothing to do with me. I'm just his ex wife that cheated on him with you but still!"

"I mean, you were a bit of a selfish bitch to him." Love remarks.

"During the divorce."

Love lays in her bed. "A little bit before that too but okay."

"So where did you go?" Lydia's eager to change the topic of their conversation.

"I went to go handle something."

Lydia huffs. "Why don't you want to tell me what that something is? It's like ever since we've gotten into a second relationship you've been keeping secrets from me."

Love sits up. "I'm not keeping secrets! I'm just...trying to find a way to properly say how I feel about you."

"How do you feel about me?" Lydia questions while she's getting even more curious.

The brunette gulps, knowing she has to answer that question at some point. Even if it's right now. "I love you, Lydia Saline."

Lydia allows a wide smile to form from her lips. "I-I love you too."

Love appreciate those words. In fact she moved them. It was like the final piece to the puzzle of the final lyric to love song that was just missing but was now found. Not only was the sentence What Love believed was something she needed in her life all along but the person that said the sentence was another thing Love believed she needed.
