{Chapter Six - Truthfully}
LOVE DID FEEL A TINY BIT GUILTY FOR WHAT SHE DID TO LYDIA SO SHE HAD TO MAKE IT RIGHT.
Love goes over to Lydia and Williams home with a fresh batch of sugar cookies with a prince of cinnamon.
She knocks on the door, holding the cookies onto a plate. Lydia opens the door, getting ready to close it back but Love stops her.
Love sighs. "Look, I'm sorry. I don't know what came over me yesterday. I'm so very sorry. It wasn't date we went on we were just talking and he was getting all romantic about you. And I suppose I got jealous because no one's ever talked about me the way your husband talks about you."
Lydia tries to hide the smile that forms on her lips. "I guess I accept your apology. And I talked to William about it and he already explained so." Lydia notices the cookies. "Are those for me?"
"Yeah. " Love nods, realizing she needed to add something else to that sentence. "And William too."
Lydia chuckles. "William hates it when sugar cookies have cinnamon in or on them. But I other the hand love it."
"Great!" Love hands her the cookies and Lydia takes them, walking away to set them on her coffee table. "You can come in." Lydia states, picking up a cookie.
Love walks inside the house, closing the door behind her. The house smelt like confetti cake, "Are you making confetti cake or something?" Love asks, sitting down on the couch.
"Shit! I forgot about that! Thanks for reminding me!" Lydia runs to the kitchen, pulling out the confetti cake that was beginning to burn a bit. But it wasn't all the way burnt so Lydia does get a congratulations.
While Lydia was occupied with the cake, Love got up from the couch and walks over to a picture of Lydia and William from their wedding day.
That'll be us in a year or two. Love thought to herself, walking away from the picture. She went into Lydia and Williams bedroom, looking around.
"Love!" Lydia calls out from the kitchen while cutting the cake. Love sets something underneath the wedded couples bed and goes into the kitchen.
Love stands next to the blonde that was cutting the cake into a perfect triangular slice. "Yes?"
"Want a slice?" Lydia asks, looking up at Love.
"I'd love one but after I go handle something at work. Forty just called and said something happened in the kitchen." Love lies.
"Ok. I hope everything's okay." Lydia states, sincerely while looking back at the cake.
Love smiles at that and leaves, going to Williams law firm that had a locker room where the workers could put things for work in without overcrowding their office.
Love breaks into the locker, seeing a pair of keys laying on top of one of his files, she takes the keys, and closes the locker.
The name of the place the keys are from is on the card attached to them. 'L.A Storage.' She goes to the storage place, unlocking the garage part do it, lifting up.
"Oh my goodness." Love covers her mouth with her hand out of shock.
