The young ninja was sent to do a simple solo recovery mission. Tsunade, had told him to fetch her a sacred scroll that had been kept away at a certain location. It would only take him a day or two to come back to the village. But he was bummed out that this was one of the few first missions he had got since his arrival after years of training.

"This...is such a drag-Ttebayo!....If I continue with boring missions like this I'll become Shikamaru!"
The yellow haired ninja said as he walked across a river. Holding his hands behind his head as he flawlessly showed off his control of chakra as he walked on water. Of course there was no one else there, but he liked to pretend Sasuke was next to him whatching him as he showed off. making the imaginary Sasuke look annoyed and jealous. The thought of this made the blonde haired ninja smile as he reminisced through the old days. Where everything seemed more....Simple.

After a LOT of walking he found an inn near the village he was heading to. Maybe taking a break might calm me down a bit.... He said thinking about hot springs and his master Jiraya and his 'research'.

"Pfft- Might not be that bad...Wonder when I'll see that old perv again" He said as he chuckled and got closer to the inn.

" Well hello there young man...Are you here for a quick stay...?" Said a senior granny to Naruto as she smiled and looked up to see him. He felt a chill go up his spine but decided to ignore it and call it the cold weather. Though it was rather a warm evening.

" Yeah, I'll like to stay for the night if you have a room available." Naruto said with a rather polite tone. As he started to feel even more colder and his feet weaken.

" Ah, right this way then" The much older woman said as she grinned. Another chill went up Naruto's spine. This time it wasn't to be ignored.

" You know what? I can get to the village anyway-" As he walked back the old woman had opened a scroll and just like magic as soon as Naruto saw it he fell. Wait....Fell?

He was falling towards a forest. Crap! What the heck happened?! . He said as he tried to stop spinning in the air to get ready and land with minimal injuries or at least none if he did it right.

" This is just...GREEAAAAAAAAAT!" He yelled as he got closer to the ground. Soon after he was swished away and carried back down.

"...What the...Naruto? What the hell happened?" He heard as he was put down on the ground. A deep but quiet voice said questioningly and slightly shocked. He immediately had checked if it was some Justus or clone because of the appearance but he saw that it was Naruto. And that the nine tails seal was there.

" Hmm...? ....." He looked up at the man. Squinting his eyes as his jaw dropped. No...way...IS THIS SASUKE?! And why the hell does he look...older? Like OLDER.

He heard a deep sigh of irritation from the raven. " What kind of none sense did you get yourself into to travel to the future?" Sasuke said as he looked down at Naruto who was still shocked as he touched his face to see if he was suddenly dreaming.

" N-NO WAAAAY! SASUK- wait...Time travel? What? I just..." He thought back to what happened to him as he tried to calm down. It wasn't working though. He soon realized that he was caught in a genjutsu and then fainted after he saw some weird scroll. And here I thought training did something...sigh*.
