Quirk Deku One-shots

(Cacti has been changed so it can grow everywhere at whatever healthiness the user wants.)

Facing Ectoplasm during the final exam, Izuku readies himself in the building that he would be tested within. Bringing a long cactus up from the ground, one that is covered in a healthy amount of spines, he walks towards the exit as he charges it, entering a large chamber with many floors.

"If you're going to ambush me, then you should do it now."

Jumping down from one of the many balconies, a clone hops down to try and take Izuku down.

"Only one?"

Swinging his cactus bat, he hits the clone, and the clone disintegrates while falling over.

"Come on!"

A few more clones jump down with the same goal, some equipped with rebar that had been prepared beforehand.

Blocking the rebar with the cactus, the surprised clone fades as the cacti spines rip through it. 

Now expecting the cactus to be as hard as metal, the other 3 clones all jump up and attack at once, forcing Izuku to block with the full cactus as all 3 bars hit it.

Smiling a little despite the predicament, Izuku reveals his first of many trump cards.

"Needle Burst!"

Pushing a lot of the stored energy within the cactus into a single needle, it blows up with a lot of power, as the cactus around it funnels the explosion using the remaining charge as a barrel.

Blowing away the 3 clones, and dispersing them all, Izuku charges back up the cactus as he grows, uproots, and brandishes a second.

"Come at me!"

As the clones descend upon Izuku, he is forced to begin blowing up needles constantly to push away and destroy clones in a battle attrition. Continuing the assault for some time, the reinforced concrete the ground is created from begins to crack. Getting annoyed as the clones keep dissipating, Izuku uses up the last spine of the first cactus, and as such, overpowers it and throws it off, as it explodes in a much larger explosion, giving him some breathing room. Backing out of the hoard, Izuku grows a third cactus, using the seconds spines to ward off would-be attackers, and continues with the battle.

Eventually as Ectoplasm begins to get annoyed at the 10 minute mark as his clones keep getting dispersed, he coagulates them all into his ultimate move. 

"Giant Bite Detention!" 

Dispelling the rest of the existing clones, and creating a much larger one, Izuku smiles as he lifts his foot up and stamps it on the ground.

"Did you forget I can charge the ground?"

Ectoplasm widens his eyes as his eyes fall to the floor in which the giant clone is formed upon. Starting to glow, it seems to be swimming with energy, which has been transferred there since the beginning of the exam.

"EXPLODE!"

The ground glows as the giant clone attempts its bite, and as he leans forward, the ground begins to bubble before it detonates. Blowing up the ground under the giant clone, Izuku smiles as the fireworks begin, or rather a pillar of fire and pressure. 

As it fires for some time from the sheer power it has to funnel, the cracks in the ground widen as the pillars supporting up the floor begin to crumble. Before it could however, they all exploded one after the other in a way so that the rubble would not be detrimental to Izuku as he ran for the exit.

Swamping the area around Izuku with clones, the 2 cacti he had been brandishing keep blowing up the pines as to thin the crowd and leave a path. Starting to get creative, Izuku charges the needles with power, but not enough to explode, then uses the cacti as a launcher of sorts, exploding the flesh under each needle, making them shoot out and pierce through many clones.

Continuing to spawn more clones as this continued Ectoplasm begins to tire out as his clones had been constantly destroyed, and any left were either crushed by rubble or unable to get through to Izuku. Using this chance, Izuku sprinted to the exit, parkouring over the occasional rock that got in his way, and with the 2 cacti being thrown behind him to explode and act as a smokescreen, Izuku bolted his way through the exit.

"Izuku Midoriya! Pass!"

Gasping for breath outside the exam area, Izuku slows to a stop as his ragged breaths sound out, and Ectoplasm casually walks out, using his emergency exist to leave because Izuku almost buried him in rubble.

"Next time use less destructive methods."

"Yes sensei!"
