Animalistic Merge (974) (Part 3)

The sound of Izuku swallowing echo'd through the USJ. The empty silent space sounded as Izuku swallowed what he could only describe as the best thing he'd ever tasted. A problem began to occur though, as Izuku's humanity began to fade, and the taste he just had was addicting. More than he ever thought it could be, and he knew exactly what it was.

In one swift motion, he grabbed the cuttlefish one who fed him, and bit down hard on his neck. Blood spurted out and dripped on the floor as Izuku ripped out the cuttlefish human's throat, and ate it with humanity abandoned. Staring at the dead corpse, Izuku's eyes then focus on the 3 delicious meals that stood atop the staircase.

Entering his "battle mode", his eyes scanned the 3, and his brain did instinctual calculations on who would be the easiest target. As his eyes focused on one target in particular, he flew straight at Aizawa, who activated his quirk on instinct and surprise, but it did nothing to stop Izuku. 

As Izuku slammed straight into him, Aizawa grunted as his rubs cracked, and he almost fainted out of pain. However, that wouldn't save Izuku, so he needed to hang on. Grappling with his capture weapon, he began to tie up Izuku and try to worm his way out from under him. No such luck however, as Aizawa's scarf was ripped apart, and Izuku leaned in to rip out the throat like he did the villain. 

Luckily, Midnight had recovered enough, and in a split second, sent a waft of her gas at Izuku, who was breathing heavily. Izuku was resistant against toxins, but as he smelled the gas, and inhaled it in giant breaths, it quickly overpowered his resistance, and he passed out. Meer centimeters from killing Aizawa.

The other hero's soon arrived on the scene, and Izuku was placed in his truck to be transported back to the UA safe house. Hopefully he would regain his rationality on the way back.

The ride back was full of silence. The hero course had seen what had happened the whole time as they evacuated, ending up by peeking around the door frame once they had all gotten out. It was scary to know how powerful, yet unstable that one guardian was. They heard of UA's guardian who attacked large swathes of villains and turned them into rivers of blood, but now they knew how true that statement was.

They saw him as he fought, as he went berserk, and as he almost killed Aizawa. They wanted to hate him, but the scenes from the beginning repeated in their mind forever. How he saved them and stopped villains from taking apart the students. How he stopped the advance in its tracks, and protected everyone from such a force.

Izuku however, had a different problem. His rationality had returned, barely, but he could smell that same tantalizing, and addicting meat just outside. His memory returned with his rationality, and he knew it was human meat. However, he couldn't stop the drool that pooled in his mouth as his brain and body yearned for that meat yet again.

To distract himself, he tried to solve the end of the puzzle, but with the distractions of the smell at all times, it was getting difficult. He stabbed himself every time he began to slip, but even then it began to stop working, causing him blanks sometimes. He was sure it was midnight making him pass out, so with bloodshot eyes, he focused on the puzzle to ignore the world around him.

Inside the final lock, after he found each and every clue, he found a single card. Flipping it over, his eyes registered the official UA logo, then the official student card design, then the student card name. Hoping it wasn't what he thought, his eyes slowly wandered to the picture of the card holder, and the name. His photo, and his name was printed there. Nezu had set him up to be a student, but now, he couldn't.

Crushing it in his hand, Izuku's eyes get even more bloodshot, looking red and impossible to see through. Flying up a bit with his last bits of sanity, he crushed the pipes at the roof, the ones that he was told not to, and as a result, Midnights gas flooded the inside of the truck's box. He was knocked out immediately, and it stayed like that until Aizawa opened the back doors when he was right in front of the room he stayed in.
