Izuku sat in his room sighing to himself. His dark viridian eyes fluttered around as he observed the area around him. The room was a simple cell, made out of concrete and steel. Used, like many others, to capture and contain villains. The rough concrete had impact craters, and cracks ran along the floor, walls and ceiling. Izuku could see the white walls outside of his bulletproof windowed room. The room's ventilation turned on for a second, Izuku now used to the humming of the propeller both keeping air flowing through, but also making sure nothing could get in. If anyone got sent there, it would be a proper prison cell. The main difference though, was that he wasn't cuffed, nor under any surveillance. This, as uncomfortable as it is, his living space.

The bed frame itself wasn't the steel block that most prisoners had if they even had a bed, but a reinforced wood frame. The mattress wasn't rubber or plastic around compacted wood, but a proper spring mattress that Izuku would call comfortable. The bedsheets, blankets, and pillow also followed this logic, being comfortable and humane, rather than the terrible one's regular prisoners got.

Izuku's eyes flicked from side to side, watching as the cracks slowly receded, and the crater in the wall filled itself in.

'No doubt Cementoss is fixing it. I should apologize to him again.'

Izuku stayed in the room of his own volition. Not as some sort of weird punishment, or cause he felt like it, but because it was needed. He couldn't tell the amount of times he'd gone berserk in this room, but it was certainly too many. The number of animals he kept experimenting with wasn't helping either, since each and every one made his berserk windows longer, and the time in between shorter.

"Hello Izuku Midoriya. I trust you are doing well?"

2 small green fluffy ears twitched as Izuku's eyes snapped to the speaker in his room, and hundreds if not thousands of small hexagonal lenses focused on the speaker.

"Ah Nezu. Is there a problem sir?"

Nezu was quick to smile at that. His eyes went a bit wide as he thought, cackling loud, and causing his laughter to fill the hall he came from, reverberating all over as he laughed.

"Oh Izuku, I do have a problem, and you're going to solve it."

Izuku's folded ears twitched at that. If there was a problem, it was often one from villains. That meant he could run wild, and wouldn't have to limit himself. The scorpions tail and dragonfly wings started to shake and twitch, ready to be used to their maximum potential once again.

Seeing Izuku's literally vibrating excitement, Nezu quickly put a plug in it, not wanting him to cause another freak-out after the last time he got excited, and broke out of the cell when going berserk.

"You will be observing and protecting a class."

Izuku's eyes focused on Nezu, observing his form, watching for any sign he'd be joking. The pupils of hundreds of lenses focused on their target, and it was soon a consensus that he wasn't lying.

"Nezu, I'm sure there are better people if they wished for protection. No matter how much of a troublemaker this class is, I'm sure you have better people. If you're sending me out cause I haven't let loose, then don't worry, I'm fine."

Izuku, losing his motivation from a false alarm, just sighed a bit as he laid back on his bed. The wings and tail he had didn't let him be comfortable on his back, but after a bit of finagling that Nezu patiently waited through, he laid on his side, comfy, facing Nezu.

"I'm not protecting a class I might go berserk near."

Izuku's mouth moved, and fangs glinted in the light. They carried dangerous poison that he never wanted to use, and Nezu of all people knew how dangerous he could be. He was covered in weapons from head to toe, and he wouldn't ever consider himself something that could protect a class. Endanger? Maybe. Defeat? If he held back. Kill? Simple. Protecting something though, would be dangerous because he had the chance of running berserk, and that would end in anything but a pretty scene.
