"Hey Eddie do you think you should date someone just like you-" Will asked but getting interrupted by Dustin.

"or someone whos like your opposite?"

"I don't know I'm the first come, first serve kinda guy"

"GET IN LINE LADIES THIS STEVE THING CAN'T LAST FOREVER" He shouted in the open field in which they were sitting.

"... I didn't mean that! Don't spread that around!"

Dustin looked at Eddie with a death stare.

"I didn't mean that I love Steve with all my heart and I hope it does last forever"

"anyway why do you ask Will?"

"oh just curious"

"Nah hes lying he likes Mike"

"Dustin shut up"

"Mike? seriously dude? hes a bit of a dick"

"That what I keep saying"

"Well i can't fucking control it"

"Yeah but... why mike?"

"Why Steve?"

"Don't talk about your mother like that especially after everything hes done for you"

Will, Dustin and Eddie were hanging out in a field near the woods. All they were really talking about was their types and who they fancy.

"What about you Dustin? anyone in mind?"

"Nope I'm a lone wolf"

"I said that once now look at me. Boyfriend and kids"

"You could probably say its the best thing that happened to you"

"Well yeah I'm the happiest I've been for a while"

"wait Will how long have you liked Mike?"

"A couple years"

"YEARS?"

"yeah"

"AND YOU HAVENT TOLD HIM?"

"Hes straight dumbass" 

"Steve said Nancy was straight now shes dating Robin"

"Have you seen Mike? he just looks straight"

"Have you seen Steve? I was convinced he was straight for so long like look at him. He looks as straight as a ruler"

"I guess so. Whats your point?"

"Tell him"

"No hes definitely straight"

"He keeps a binder full of your drawings and he looked through them late at night when he can't sleep"

"How do you know that?"

"Steve and I were at his house a while ago hanging out with Nancy and Robin. We stayed kinda late and Mike came down stairs telling us to shut up and yeah I asked what he was doing and said he was looking through your drawings cuz he couldn't sleep"

"I'm still not doing it"

"yes you are"

"What do I even do? just walk up to him and say 'hey your pretty cute and I've liked you for a while wanna go out?' I can't do that"
