For Eddie Munson prom night was something he would never want to go to unless his crush was going or he had a date. Unlucky for him he was too much of a pussy to ask Steve out so hes planning on going with his friend group. His friend group was small but all he needed. It consisted of Nancy Wheeler, Steve Harrington and Robin Buckley. This friend group meant everything to him.
One day he was hanging out with his friends when they started talking about the prom. The girls were talking about the dresses they were gonna wear while Steve was talking about who was going with who.
"Yo Munson" Steve said throwing a pillow at him.
"The fuck do you want?" He asked taking off his headphones
"We're all planning on going together. You in?"
"uhh I don't know. I didn't really have plans on going"
"why not?"
"It just doesn't seem like my kind of place"
"But Eddie we're all going and we want the whole group to be there so we have a good time. It won't be the same without you" Nancy joined.
"Let me get this straight you're all going?"
"Yeah" They said in sync
"WILLINGLY?"
"oh come on Eds" Steve said.
Eddie always gets weak at the knees when he calls him Eds.
"No you know why? because you'll all get asked to dance and I'll be the idiot in the corner"
"Eddie if I got asked out by a GUY I would throw up. I will literally shout I like girls" Robin replied.
"I don't like any girls at our school and theres no way in hell I'm dancing with someone just to be "polite"" Steve answered.
"Most of the guys at our school are perverts and if one even touches me im throwing up" Nancy responded.
"... Also another thing"
"ughhh Munson shut up you're coming with us if you like it or not"
"theres no way in hell I'm going"
Turns out Eddie ended up just accepting defeat and now hes going with the group. WOOO. Hes not happy about it but hes going and when I tell you Steve couldn't be happier.
Everyone started talking about prom again and started playing uno. Eddie moved to the floor by lazily falling off the couch and moved towards Harrington. Eddie has always been quite clingy to Steve when just Eddie and Steve hung out. Nobody knows why hes clingy to only Harrington but some suspect its because he feels safe around him. Eddie moved closer to Harrington and hugged him from behind. This was normal behaviour to Harrington but Nancy thought Eddie might strangle Steve but instead he just stayed there hugging him. He was still bored and wanted a reaction so he playfully bit Steves neck.
"Munson we all know you're a cannibal but what have we said about eating you're friends."
Eddie groaned and changed his position so his head was on Steves lap. Steve was losing in uno and was getting really frustrated. Eddie took the cards from him and won in one turn. Steve was shocked.
"You really suck at this Harrington"
"And there goes Eddie with his weird way of flirting"
"You're just mad we won"
