Eddie had been sleeping over at Steves house for a while because it was getting too hot to sleep in his trailer and Steve was worried about him overheating. Eddie often just slept on the floor because he liked it but sometimes either when his back was hurting or Steve had night terrors, he would sleep in Steves bed with him often waking up cuddling one another.
"How did your air conditioning break?" Steve asked as they washed dishes.
"I threw the tv remote at it"
"why would you do that?"
"Because I want to stay with you" He replied sarcastically.
"Eddie"
"I was sad and got kinda jealous so I threw it as a mechanism meaning to hit the wall but it hit the ac instead"
"Why were you jealous?"
"Whats with all the questions?"
"If you can't answer my questions you can get out"
"fine fine sorry your highness"
"Why were you jealous?"
"becauseyou know, you were going out with someone and I had to find out from Robin"
"Let me guess you were jealous because I had a date and you were sad because I didn't tell you. You know dude you have girls all over you just pick one you fancy"
"Oh Steve Steve Steve. Dumb innocent stupid Steve" He said rubbing his wet thumb on Steves cheek.
Steve batted Eddies hand away and wiped his cheek on his shoulder.
"what"
"Girls may be all over me but im not exactly all over them if you catch my drift"
Steve looked at Eddie confused trying to piece together what he just said.
"Steve I'm gay"
"Ohhhh.. that actually makes a lot of sense"
"How have you not noticed yet?"
"I honestly dont know. It seems so obvious now"
"Yeah well I don't exactly keep it a secret"
"So why were you jealous?"
"Because if you get a girlfriend you'll stop hanging out with me" he lied
"I promise that won't happen. You're too stubborn. If you call me and I don't answer you literally come to my house and if that doesn't work you climb through the fucking window"
"Oh yeah haha can't get rid of me that easy"
"Yeah"
"But you'll stop willingly hangout with me and you'd be too busy with her"
"Eddie that won't happen. I'll still hangout with you and who knows I might not even get a boy- girlfriend"
"yeah well that can't be hard since your such a ladies man"
"Its harder than you think"
"Really? because it looks like you pick babes up wherever you go"
"They might like me but I have my eye out for someone"
"Oh the girl you went on a date with?"
