Will's Point
Last night Nico told me about is past and his PTDS and I listened and comforted and right now I wish I could do the same, I wish ai could open up to him and tell him everything. But unfortunately I couldn't.
Right now I was at the studio recording my song but I kept messing up and I could tell Nico was getting a little irritated.
"Will, there's really nothing to be nervous about" Nico said for the 5th time today
"Yeah I know, I'll-I'll try to get it right" I said
"Go ahead and try again, and don't push yourself to hard" Nico said making me relax a little.
I took a deep breath and started to sing.
"Some seem to see me as strange cause of my ways.
Like how I dream of holding, holding her...hand...." I sang still finding it hard to sing her instead of his
"How about we take a break? It's about lunch time anyway" Nico said
Everyone seemed to take a sigh of relief and a few glared at me for messing up so much.
"Everything ok?" Nico asked as I started to walk out.
"Yeah, I just have a lot on my mind" I said
"Your mom?" Nico asked
"Yeah" I said. While I was still worried about my mother I had technically lied since the real reason was that I found it hard to sing about a girl instead of a guy.
"How about I treat you to lunch to help get you mind off it?" Nico asked
"I brought lunch so I'd hate to trouble you" I said
"What did you bring?"
"A sandwich" I said
"That's it?" Nico asked
"Yeah" I said
"I'm treating you to lunch come on" Nico said
"You know" Jason started to whisper as Nico walked ahead
"Nico never really liked spending a lot of money before you came, he must really like you" Jason said
"L-Like me?" I asked feeling my face heat up but Jason just smiled and walked up to Nico
As we got to the car, Nico hopped in the back again.
"Are you sure your ok sitting in the back?" I asked
"I'm fine so long as it's just the two of us" Nico said making my heart flatter a little when he said the two of us.
"Why don't you sit up front?" I asked
"I....well....." Nico said stumbling over his words and I almost thought I saw a little pink on his cheeks
"We had someone try and attack not to long ago so I started sitting in the back to be less noticeable" Nico said quickly and I could see Jason smirk up front.
"Someone tried to attack you?" I asked
"Not like it's the first time" Nico said
"When it comes to Nico, Percy, me and my sister people either love us or hate us and unfortunately in Nico's case it's mostly hate" Jason said
"Why would people hate him?" I asked
"His father has a lot of enemies" Jason said
"But Nico isn't his father, he's kind and considerate. The only thing he seems to have from his father is his looks only he looks a little better" I said and this time I clearly saw Nico go red.
"I mean...um....you seem like the kind of guy who all the women would like....you probably even have a girlfriend" I quickly added
"I have a few girl friends" Nico said putting emphasis on friends
"But no, I don't have any girlfriend and I never will" Nico said
"Not interested in marriage?" I asked and I swear he went even redder
"Oh look! We're here" Nico suddenly said changing the subject.
We got out and walked into the restaurant.
Jason waved and the receptionous and walked past her.
"We have our own table here" Jason said
"So you have a sister?" I asked Jason as we sat down.
"Yeah Thalia, she's 7 years older then me" Jason said
"Do you two get along?" I asked
"We do, she was rather upset when I came home hurt" Jason said
"Must be nice to have grown up with a caring sister" I said
"Oh, we didn't grow up together" Jason said
"You didn't?" I asked
"I'm sure you know of my father's reputation with lovers" Jason said
"Yeah, my father used to be just like him" I said
"Well, when I was really young he's wife Hera found out about my mother and became furious so my mother gave me to her and told her to do what she wanted with me. Lucky for me she came to care for me very much. I met my sister again when I was in my teen years" Jason said
"Can't any of us have a normal life?" I asked and Nico laughed
"If only" Nico said
"So why didn't you invite Percy to come?" I asked
"He always grabs lunch with Annabeth" Nico said
"I guess I would to if I was dating someone" I said
"Your not?" Nico asked
"No, I haven't met anyone I like that would be interested" I said
"Oh" Nico said sounding a little disappointed
"So you think you can do the song when we get back?" Nico asked
"I'll try, I'm sorry for causing so much trouble" I said
"You took this job for your mom didn't you?" Jason asked
"How did you know?" I asked
"When you were told the amount of the bill at the hospital you stepped out and made a call and then came back and said you could pay" Jason said
"Yeah, I didn't really want to take it after talking with Mr. Di Angelo but I needed a way to pay" I said
"Then just think of her, think of the reason your doing this and I'm sure you'll be able to get it right" Jason said
"Your right, thanks Jason" I said
After lunch we went back and I was finally able to finish the song.
