Nico's Point
"WHY HAVE YOU NOT BEEN ANSWERING YOUR PHONE!" A Girl who I assumed was Lou Ellen said
"Shh! be quiet I don't want him to wake up" I said and there was a pause
"What's wrong?" I heard a guy who was probably Cecil say in the background
"It's not Will" Lou Ellen whispered
"Then who is it?" Cecil asked
"Who is this?" Lou Ellen asked
"Nico Di Angelo" I said
"And why do you have Will's Phone?" Lou asked
"Because his sleeping and I didn't want him to wake up" I said
"How do you know Will!?" Cecil yelled
"Give me back the phone!" Lou Ellen yelled
"Why can't you just put it on speaker, it's not like anyone else is here" Cecil said
"Fine" Lou Ellen said
"So? How do you know Will?" Cecil asked
"I...." I paused for a moment and looked down at Will. I didn't want to say everything if Will hadn't told them.
"I'm his manager" I said
"Wait, the McDonald's guy?" Cecil asked
"Funny enough that's what I called Will" I said as I smiled and gently ran my fingers through his hair.
Both of them laughed a little before one of them spoke up.
"So what are you doing at his apartment?" Cecil asked
"And why is he sleeping with you?" Lou asked with a suspicious tone
"I just happened to be here and calmed him down" I said
"Calmed him down? What's wrong?" Cecil asked
"We've been trying to get a hold of him all day, we even tried to call his mom but she didn't pick up" Lou Ellen said
"While he was out earlier today and most likely had his ringtone off" I said feeling horrible that they didn't know why his mom wasn't answering
"What about now?" Lou Ellen asked
"And why can't we get a hold of his mom either?" Cecil asked
I looked down at Will again and took a deep sigh.
"I'm sorry" I said as I brushed some hair out of his face.
"Why are you sorry?" Cecil asked
"I take it your Cecil and Lou Ellen?" I said
"Yes, how did you know?" Lou Ellen asked
"I saw his messages" I said
"Going through his message are we?" Cecil asked in a suspicious but slightly teasing tone
"I....I wasn't meaning to" I said
"So you know what's going on?" Lou Ellen asked
"Unfortunately, I do" I said
"Is it that bad?" Cecil asked now sounding completely worried
"If I tell you, you have remain quiet until I'm done" I said
"We will" Lou Ellen said
"Just tell us what going on" Cecil said
"The night Will got here his mom got in a car accident......she's been in the hospital since that night without waking and.....well....his been living with me and two other guys since, we cleaned out our spare room for him. He seemed to be doing ok since his mom was at least stable but while I was in my room I heard glass shatter and run into the kitchen to find Will at the sink with one of the shards. It took a little to calm him down" I said.
There was a long pause and I heard sniffling
"He....he made it seem like everything was fine" Lou Ellen said and I could tell by her voice she was trying hard not to cry.
"Do you know why he......he....." Cecil started to say but he didn't seem to be able to finish his sentence
"I didn't get the details but it seems like they want him to pull the plug" I said
"No...I...I wish we could be there with him" Lou Ellen said
"I can see if I have enough money saved up" Cecil said
"But you said you were saving that for something important" Lou Ellen said
"What's more important then being there for our friend in a time like this" Cecil said
"Don't bother" I said
"What do you mean don't bother?!" Cecil snapped
"What I mean is I can pay for both of you to come out" I said
"Really? Wow you must really like him to spend money on people you don't even know" Cecil said
"And you to must like each other a lot to be alone together at 11 at night" I said and then there was silence.
I heard Lou Ellen clear her throat before she spoke
"Well....we're friends and we...we were worried about Will so..um..." Lou Ellen started to say because Cecil cut in
"Please don't tell Will" Cecil said
"CECIL!" Lou Ellen yelled
"What? He obviously knows already" Cecil said
And I laughed.
"I'm sure you want to tell him yourselves so I won't say anything" I said
".....thanks" Lou Ellen said
"So, how soon can you be ready to leave?" I asked
"How soon can you get us plane tickets?" Cecil asked
"Started packing" I said
"Wait, now? You can get something that fast?" Lou Ellen asked
"I have my ways" I said
"How long will it take us to get to New York?" Cecil asked
"Oh, your not going to New York" I said
"We're not?" Lou Ellen asked
"No, we're going to Hollywood tomorrow so it would be pointless for you to come here" I said
"Will's going to Hollywood?!" Cecil asked excitedly
"Yeah, his got a great voice why wouldn't they want him" I said
"I don't think we could ever tell you just how much this means" Lou Ellen said
"It's nothing, let me give you my number in case you need anything because I'd like this to be a surprise for Will" I said
"Sure" Both of them said at the same time making me laugh again.
I gave them my number and told them a little of what to expect like how I would have my driver pick them up.
When they were about to hang up I stopped them
"Can you just tell me one thing before you go?" I asked
"What?" Lou Ellen asked
"Is there anything I can do to help Will? Like it there anything that helps keep his mind from......wondering?" I asked
"I know he use to share his location with his mom on Google, that seemed to help him" Cecil said
"Thanks, I guess I'll see you two tomorrow" I said
"Yeah, see you then" Lou Ellen said
