Will's Point
I had thought I was spoiled we I was on the plane coming to New York but it's was nothing compared to the private jet.
Not only was there enough seating for all of us to have our own seat but the seats were big enough that three people could sit if needed, we also had plenty to drink and eat, and we and plenty of room to get up and walk around if we wanted.
I was sitting at a seat by myself looking out the window when someone sat down next to me and I looked over to see Nico and smiled.
"Got lonely being by yourself?" I asked
Instead of answering right away Nico lend his head on my shoulder and closed his eyes
"I'm tired" Nico said
"Did you want to lay on my lap instead of against my shoulder?" I asked with a small chuckle
Nico nodded slightly and I helped him move his head to my lap.
"Did you not sleep well?" I asked as I self-consciously ran my fingers through his hair.
"It took me a little to fall asleep" Nico said softly and within seconds he was asleep.
Nico slept the for entire flight, although he could have just slept on a seat by himself the fact that he decided to sleep next to me made me filled me with joy.
When the jet landed I gently shock Nico to wake him.
"Nico?" I said and he mumbled something
"Wake up, we've landed" I said
"Uh?" Nico asked as he sat up and rubbed the sleep out of his eyes
"We landed" I said and that seemed to jualt him awake.
Nico grabbed my hand was a huge smile and yanked me up then ran to the door.
"Nico slow down" I said laughing a little wondering was he seemed so happy all the sudden.
When we got out of the plane I saw a black limousine parked and waited and my heart sunk as I remembered that Nico had someone waiting.
Nico pulled me over towards the limousine and stopped a few feet away and I waited in agony for who ever it was to step out.
"Is it good to come out now?" Asked a voice that sounded like Cecil
"You can come out" Nico said smiling and as he did one of the doors opened and out stepped Cecil and Lou Ellen
"What are you two doing here?!" I yelled in excitement as I let go of Nico's hand and ran over to them. We shared a three way hug and then Lou Ellen let go and punched my in the shoulder
"What was that for?" I asked
"For keeping things from us" Lou Ellen said
I looked at her confused and Nico walked up beside me.
"I'm sorry, they called your phone last night and I answered it because I was worried it would wake you up" Nico said
"What did you talk about on the phone?" I asked
"I....I told them about your mom" Nico said softly
"You what?" I asked a little scared sine that was the one thing I hadn't wanted to tell them.
"Do be mad at him" Lou Ellen said
"We were asking why he was in your apartment and why we couldn't get a hold of your mom, we didn't leave him much choice" Cecil said
"Will" Nico said softly and quietly
"I know you didn't want them to know because you didn't want them to worry but......" Nico said seeming to lose his words
"But?" I asked
"But I didn't want you to learn the way I did that you need people, you need friends in your darkness times.....otherwise...you....you end up feeling even more lost and alone and....that's not a feeling I want you to ever feel" Nico said almost in a whisper his eyes filling with tears as I imagined he was remembering something from his past.
I pulled Nico to me and hugged him close.
"Thank you" I said before pulling away
"I take it you know these two?" Jason asked as he and Percy walked up to us.
"Yeah, this is Lou Ellen Blackstone and Cecil Markowitz" I said gesturing to Lou Ellen and Cecil
"And this is Jason Grace, Percy Jackson and Nico Di Angelo" I said gesturing to Jason, Percy and Nico.
"Nice to meet you" Cecil said with a grin.
"Same" Jason said still sounding a little unsure but he seemed to trust me which was nice.
"So how long have you known Will?" Percy asked
"We've known him since he was 9" Lou Ellen said
"And how did you meet Nico?" Jason asked
"We weren't getting any responses from Will by text so we called him phone and Nico was the one who answered." Lou Ellen said
"Actually, I first saw him in McDonalds when he bought Will dinner" Cecil said
"You bought him dinner before you knew him?" Percy asked
"I was just being nice!" Nico said quickly before he realized and slowed down, his face red.
"He said he hadn't eaten and that he lived with his mom and since he seemed like a good worker I bought food so that he could eat and bring home food for his mom" Nico said
"I'm just saying that I'm surprised that's all, you haven't really gone out of your way to talk to people since you were young" Percy said.
"What are you talking about? I've never been super social" Nico said
"You were when we first met" Percy said and I saw Nico's face go more red
"You should have seen him it may have annoyed me a little bit then but looking back now he was a cute child" Percy said
"Percy please stop talking" Nico said his face still red.
"What? You were cute." Percy said
"Percy" Nico said sounding embarrassed but Percy didn't stop
"He use to go on and on about this card game he was obsessed with telling me about every card and what they did. He was only ten" Percy said
I smile as I imagined a young Nico and Nico seemed to go even redder
