New History Season six, Episode nine
"IZZIE'S back?!" Esme basically shouted in Meredith's ear causing Meredith to scold her.
"Shh!" Esme realized she said that a little too loud as she was walking besides Meredith in the busy hospital hallways, "I can't have everyone finding out that Izzie came back."
"What's she here for? To get her job back? To talk to Alex? To come back-"
"Esme you're asking too many questions I don't know the answer to."
Esme made an apologetic face.
"I'm sorry, I'm just confused on why Izzie is showing up out of nowhere after she disappeared for months."
"All she said was that she needed help with something," Meredith let out a sigh, "She didn't even specify what she meant by help. She just said meet her in the empty hallway where we always used to be."
"Oh, I hope-" Esme's sentence was soon cut off once she heard the voices of Owen and her mother arguing.
"Owen, why the fuck would you bring her here?"
The two women turned their head to see Owen and Bella in a rather heated argument, which caused everyone around to see what was happening.
"I wanted to surprise Cristina-"
"Cristina already has me here! She and this hospital doesn't need another specialized Cardiothoracic surgeon." Bella argued back at him.
"Who says she's gonna stay here?"
"Owen anytime some special doctor comes to visit this hospital, all the sudden they work here. It happened to you, it happened to me, it happened to Mark, and other people-" Bella let out a grunt before continuing, "Plus I don't want her working here. Next thing I know she's fucking Mark in the storage room just like she did with you in Iraq-"
"Okay I think that's enough from you guys today!"
Esme swooped into the conversation to drag her mother away from Owen before things got way too out of hand.
"I wasn't even finished-"
"Mom! You can't be bringing up personal issues and arguing in front of people that you work with and care for. You could get in trouble." Esme was quick to scold her mother on what she had just done.
