Season five, Episode nine The midnight hour
ESME had been pacing around her room knowing that her mother was going to come officially live in Seattle in just a few hours, which freaked her out.
She was awake early that morning so she can get there before everyone for an appy. A solo surgery was going to be awarded, and Esme was going to go above and beyond to get it.
She soon left the room and went into the bathroom to vent to Meredith, only to see Sadie there as well much to her annoyance.
"Hey, why do you have that look on your face?" Meredith spoke up as she looked towards Esme with a curious look on her face.
"Are you forgetting that my mother is coming to live in Seattle and work in the same hospital as me?" Esme reminded her with wide eyes, "Plus, it's going to be so awkward with Dad and Owen. Oh, god why me? This isn't the family reunion I was expecting."
"Wait, your mother's Bella Dubois? And your grandparents are Francis and Lily Dubois?" Sadie began to ask her and Esme nodded slowly, "My god, what are you doing? You should be all around Europe enjoying your life instead of working in some hospital."
Esme narrowed her eyes at her with an offended look on her face, before completely ignoring her and turning back to Meredith.
"What do I do?" Esme asked Meredith, a worried look on her face.
"Just calm down. When I met Lexie, I wanted her gone but I tolerate her now. I mean it's not so bad," Meredith tried telling her, but Esme still was worried.
Esme only walked out the bathroom, only to feel her pager beep and saw that George paged her saying there's an appy.
Meredith and Sadie soon walked out as well, and suddenly they all stopped once they heard moans come out of Izzie's room.
Esme's mouth was agape, as Sadie sent them a look, "Hot."
"Horny," Meredith commented as Sadie walked away.
Esme soon shrugged her shoulders realizing it was normal and thought it was Alex with Izzie.
Suddenly, Alex walked out of his room causing Meredith and Esme's eyes to widen in confusion.
"Oh, what—what are you doing out here?" Meredith asked him as she looked towards Izzie's bedroom.
"You two think you're the only ones who paid off the nurse to page you for an appy," Alex commented as he referred to both Meredith and Esme.
