A FEW DAYS AGO, WILLOW AND FINN TRIED TO CONVINCE SAM TO JOIN GLEE CLUB SINCE THEY NEED NEW MEMBERS. He hasn't joined but Willow hasn't given up hope that he'll change his mind.

"I really think he'll change his mind, Finn." Willow said, siting down in the seat next to her friend. "I mean he has to."

"He does have a choice to join, you know. Besides he can't have that good of a voice." Rachel said. She sat on the opposite side of Finn leaning across from him to speak to Willow.

"Yeah, you're right. Wouldn't want him to end up at a crackhouse like Sunshine." She let out a fake gasp seeing Rachel's mouth gaped open.

"All right." Mr. Schuester said turning around in the front of the room. Behind him on the whiteboard read 'Christopher Cross'. "Who can tell me who Christopher Cross is?"

"He discovered America." Brittany said confidently. Willow looked to her confused and back to Mr. Schuester. Out the corner of her eye she saw Finn with a smile.

"Close. He did write an iconic chart topper, "Sailing"." Mr. Schuester said. He walked to the piano for a second before heading back to everyone with papers. "Now. Some people think of the term "easy listening" as a bad thing, but i'm gonna let this music speak for itself."

"10 bucks it's gonna be some old songs none of us want to sing." Willow said leaning to Finn. She held her hand out in front of him waiting for him to take her bet. And he did. With a smile on her face she listened back to Mr. Schuester.

"You guys love Lady Gaga and the Rolling Stones, and you guys are really good about putting it all out there." He handed a few papers to Willow and soon to everyone else. "But, really good music can also be controlled and restrained. It doesn't have to attack an audience." He stood in front of Quinn with the last papers. "It can let them come to you."

"Told you.." she whispered to Finn holding the paper in her hands.

"How can you get caught between the moon and New York City? They're like a 100 miles apart." Finn said reading from the paper. Willow looked to him then to Rachel who gave her the same look.

"Mr. Schue, if i may," Kurt began to say getting everyone's attention. "I think i speak for all of us when i say that it's not that we don't love the idea of spending a week on this silky-smooth adult contemporary. It's just that, as teens, this isn't the easiest music for us to relate to.

"However, there is a burgeoning Facebook campaign that has swelled to over five members. The ardent demand? That this week, at the fall homecoming assembly, the McKinley High School Glee Club perform a number by, wait for it," he paused in his long rant for a moment. "Ms. Britney Spears."

That made almost everyone excited. Tina clapped and looked to Willow. "We have to do Britney. She's like our idol." Tina said looking to Mike. He looked at the two before turning his head.

"Yes. I loved her last album 'Circus'. I even heard she might be working on more songs." she said happily.

"Sorry." Mr. Schuester started as he cleared his throat. "Kurt. Kurt. Sorry. No. No. No." he said getting everyone to stop talking. "I don't think she's a very good role model."

"But Mr. Schue, we kind of grew up with her." Rachel said. Willow nodded.

"Yeah, i mean she's the reason me and Tina want to be a performer." Willow added. She held on to Tina's hand and she nodded along.

"I don't want to do Britney." Brittany said aloud.

Everyone including Puck looked to the girl stunned and confused. Willow never truly understood her or where her head was at at times. "Why no Britney, Brittany?" Willow asked.
