As the final week for the school year began, Willow had the grand idea to have the first glee club members perform a number.
Mercedes, Artie, Tina, Kurt and Rachel all sang 'Rockin The Boat' while Willow sat and played at the piano. It was mainly because the first time they played, her leg was broken. Of course.
She laughed as they tried to remember all the moves to the song. Once they finished, everyone laughed and applauded while the group bowed.
"That was the most ghetto number i have ever seen." Santana commented from the window.
"Then just call me George Jefferson, because we went from the ghetto to the penthouse. National champs, baby!" Artie cheered. He earned a few applause while everyone went to take a seat somewhere.
Mr. Schuester, who was watching from the doorway, came in and wrote on the whiteboard 'Goodbye'. It made everyone's clapping come to a halt.
"This week's assignment is easy. Graduation is just a few days away." he started.
"Ugh- Don't remind me. I've been crying all weekend." Willow said as she took her seat next to Sam. She laid her head on his shoulder as he wrapped his arm around her.
"Well, our work here is done, so there's only one thing left to do - say goodbye." the man finished. "Underclassmen, pick some songs to say goodbye to the seniors. Seniors, pick a song to say goodbye to us."
"A part of me wants to lock these doors and stay in here with everyone forever." Mercedes commented as she looked around the room.
Willow thought the same thing. She wanted nothing more than to just keep everything the way it was. No changing.
"We can use the wastebasket for the toilet, and then we could eat Joe for the food, since she's been here the shortest, so we know her the least." Brittany joked.
Mr. Schuester found his way onto a stool holding a guitar looking out to his classroom. "I really hope you're about to rap." Quinn pleaded.
The man chuckled as he adjusted the instrument. "No such luck." he joked. "I'm leading by example here. This one is for you guys." He looked out to his seniors for a moment before he started to sing 'Forever Young'.
Willows mind replayed all her moments with all the seniors in the room. It was a bittersweet feeling. She knew this moment was coming but didn't think it would be so soon.
As she looked around the room, everyone else had the same somber smile she did. Like they knew it was coming to an end and was dreading it as well.
...
"So, what? That's it? You're just gonna ignore me?" Willow yelled as she stood at her locker. She was on the phone with her cousin who apparently wasn't going to be coming to Ohio for the summer. Finn walked up to her only to be met with her finger. "Oh really? Wait till i tell grandma!" she yelled into the phone.
He watched as she aggressively hung up her phone and let out an annoyed grunt. "Everything okay..?" the boy asked, worriedly.
"My idiot of a cousin bailed on me this summer is all." she said before shutting her locker. She turned to face her friend and a smiled found its way on her lips. "What's up?" she asked.
"I wanted to talk to you about me and Rachel." he said.
"Don't worry, even though the wedding is gonna be small, i'll still make sure that it's amazing." she said reassuringly. They started to walk together and she linked their arms. "As your best woman, you have my word."
