SO HERE'S WHAT YOU MISSED ON GLEE:

Shelby's back with Beth and she's starting her own show choir at McKinley.

Mercedes is on board cause she's tired of Rachel and the Glee Club. And Quinn's only playing nice so she and Puck can get the baby back.

Kurt and Rachel and Brittany are all running for senior class president and Sue's running for Congress so she can cut funding for Glee clubs everywhere.

Willow's been M.I.A from Glee Club due to Volleyball tournaments and hasn't called Sam back. Even though it's been two weeks.

And that's what you missed in Glee.

...

Willow had been busy for a while. With Volleyball and her new job at the coffee shop in her neighborhood, she barely had time to go to any Glee Club meetings.

By the time she was at work, she got placed on cleanup duty. There wasn't a lot of people inside, so she took her break in the corner of the building where there were no cameras or customers.

She pulled out her phone and the first thing she saw were texts from Sam. It'd been almost two weeks and she still was afraid to answer him back.

'Please call me back'

'How's Volleyball? Heard you won a lot of games'

'My sister misses you..'

She scrolled through what felt like a million texts before a bag was slammed on the table in front of her making her jump to her feet and toss her phone. "I'm working.." she started to say.

"We both know that's not true." she heard Mercedes laugh. Seeing her friend, she let out a breath of air with her hand over her chest.

"Oh good. It's you.." she said taking her seat again. "What are you doing here? Can't you get in trouble talking to the enemy?" she joked.

"Girl, you are no enemy," she replied taking a seat in front of her. "Besides.. i have a proposal for you."

Getting the hint, Willow wanted to back out. "Cedes.. you know i can't leave Glee Club. I'm-"

"Overshadowed. Overlooked.. Outshined." Mercedes said. She could see she was almost getting through to Willow with those few words. "Look, you know better than me that you have an amazing voice. But you don't always get to hear it."

"It's a choice. I'm not very spoken." she tried to explain.

"That's not true, and you know it." She leaned forward making Willow look more into her eyes. "You have a real shot at being recognized and not just for your advice or piano skills.. for you."

Her words repeated themselves in Willows head. She was being overlooked and outshined daily. She rarely got to sing any solos and when she did it was only for an assignment.

But she had to stick to her choice. "I'll think about it." she said.

...

By the next day in Glee Club meeting, Willow walked in to see Tina crying. "What did you do Puck?" she asked taking a seat between him and Mike.

"Nothing." he said throwing his hands up.

"You know what, girl Chang? If you cry every time someone gets a hangnail, it kind of starts to lose its effect." Santana said making Tina's cries come a halt.
