WILLOW STOOD NEXT TO FINN AT HIS LOCKER TALKING HIS EAR OFF.

"I honestly don't even know if i want to go to college or not but my moms pressing me on it." she said. He groaned in response for her to keep going. "But if i do go, i want you to throw me the biggest party because it will be a miracle if i graduate high school."

He let out a laugh and looked to his friend. "Oh come on. You have better grades than me." She sent him a look before think about it.

She opened her mouth to continue but Sam came up to her and took her hand. Without saying anything he dragged her away from Finn and started to head to an empty room.

"Sam! You can't just drag me away-"

"I'm sorry.. i'm sorry. Just.. look.." He took a second to grab his thoughts. Suddenly he pulled out a small box. He opened it and turned it to Willow. It was a small ring inside.

Her eyes went wide. "Wh- Is this.. Is this your way of telling me you're going to propose?!" she whisper yelled. She took the small box and shut it afraid of what he was thinking. "Sam-"

"It's a promise ring.." he calmly said, smiling. He gently took the box and looked at it. "For Quinn."

Her fear went away but she was still surprised. "Wait.." she started. "You're giving her a promise ring? Haven't you guys been dating for like.. a month now?"

He let out a sigh and took a seat in one of the chairs. "Yeah.. But i think i love her."

She didn't know what to say. love?! A part of her was ashamed. At herself. She really thought her feelings would just vanish after a few weeks. But the other part of her was concerned. "What's uh.. What made you want to do this?"

He set the box down and smiled. "I don't know.." He was a grinning mess. "I mean.. We've been like.. hanging out a lot and.. other stuff-" he laughed.

She grimaced at the idea of what 'other stuff' meant. "Okay..okay.. Didn't need to know all of that." she said under her breath. She took a seat on the table opposite of him. "Are you.. like deadest on this? Like this is what you're going to do?"

He noticed she sounded nervous and worried. "Don't tell me your jealous, Willow." he laughed. She scoffed and waved him off. "I mean.. it does make sense you'd have a thing for me."

She gave him an annoyed smile. "You wish." she told him. She gathered her thoughts and continued. "Sam.. are you sure you want to do this? I mean you barely know Quinn and you're gonna make a promise to her to love and trust her?"

"Yeah.." He stood up and put the box back in his pocket. Who's smile was gone. "Look.. i only told you because i thought you'd support me.. I thought we were friends.."

Friends. Of course he said friends. That's what they are. "We are friends, Sam.." she said. She couldn't help but feel like her feelings were betraying Quinn. "But you're right. You're right. I should support you. I'm sorry." she said standing off the table.

He looked into her eyes and sent a smile. Deep down he knew his feelings for her were too much. But he couldn't loose her as a friend. "Thanks."

She nodded and headed to the door. "Well.. you should go stretch your arm." she told him before leaving the room.

...

Once the day started, Willow was bored with everything. The bell rang and she trudged around the hallways looking for anyone she knew.
