"Here's the problem" Willow started off. Her and Sam sat in Miss. Pillsbury's office with frustrated looks. "Sam and i used to date."
"And then i moved away, now im bunking at Finn and Kurt's."
"And i moved on from him but he hasn't moved on."
"But then she and i kissed. Twice."
"And we both agreed that we can't do anything about this because i'm not ready yet." she said. "I'm just trying to work out a way so neither of us hurt each other like last time."
"Actually, you're in luck because i just got my new series of pamphlets back from the first printer, which uniquely address the modern-day issues of today's 21st-century teen." she smiled.
Once the woman grabbed two separate pamphlets, she turned to the two and handed them over. "'So you're a dirty liar'?" Willow read shocked.
"'So you're dating a dirty liar'." Sam read.
"Right? They get your attention, don't they?" the woman smiled. "I mean, that really makes you want to read on."
"Miss. P, i'm not a liar. That's not me." Willow tried to say. "I'm just really wanting to get to know me better. I mean the last time, me and my ex broke up because of me and Sam. Not cheating. I just couldn't like two guys at the same time. I just cant seem to listen to what my heart wants."
The woman took one look at the two teens and crossed her hands together. "Well, if you really want to listen, then you need to stop talking." She received mixed expressions. "I'm serious. You know, there's a lot of communication in your lives these days, with texting and IM'ing and Facebooking. I mean, you don't have any quiet time with yourselves to make informed decisions on-on your true feelings."
Willows phone chimed the second Sam put his phone back. Pulling it out, she read the notification. "Sam just tweeted that i look good in my new glasses."
"I won't stop till it's trending." he whispered with a smile as he faced her.
"This is my point," Miss. Pillsbury said gesturing to the boy. "I think that you and Sam should spend a week not speaking to each other. No e-mails, no texts, nothing."
"But Miss. P-" Willow tried to interrupt.
"And i think.. that at the end of that week you'll have a much better idea of what your true feelings are." She saw how Sam got ready to say something to Willow but stopped them both. "Shh-shh. No. No. Starting.. Starting.. now." she said with a smile once the bell rang.
The two looked from the clock down to the desk with a huff. "Hooray. Not speaking." Miss. Pillsbury said while softly clapping.
...
Later that night, Willow stood in Finn's kitchen as he watched her roam around. "I mean i know it's good for us.. but how am i supposed to not speak to him?" she said. "We see each other almost everyday."
"Is it even okay that you're here?" he asked watching her go in his pantry. "I mean i know he's hanging with Artie right now but what if he comes back soon?"
She waved him off as she grabbed a bag of chips that were already opened. "I'll just act like i'm not here."
"Your cars in the driveway.." he reminded. She took one bite of a chip but he chose to change the subject. "Okay.. How's your tutoring thing going?"
