SO HERE'S WHAT YOU MISSED ON GLEE:

Mckinley's doing West Side Story and everyone's excited, especially Coach Beiste, Emma and Artie because they're the directors

Blaine got the lead and so did Rachel, which made Mercedes quit the Glee Club and join Shelby's Trouble Tones with Santana and Brittany.

Mike Chang's playing Riff even though his dad told him he can't be a dancer. I think he wants him to go to doctor college or something.

Willows been all over the place with Volleyball, Glee Club, and her whole Sam thing. It also doesn't help when that coach is constantly reminding her about getting a D1 scholarship before it's too late.

But she's wondering if she even wants to go to college.

And that's what you missed on Glee.

"Thanks for letting me help out in the play Artie." Willow said as she displayed her makeup kit on a table.

"Of course, Wil." he said. "Now, i have a few suggestions on how we could improve the makeup." he said handing her a small packet.

She hesitantly took the papers and slowly flipped through them. She could tell he did his research on broadway makeup by the way he used words she never heard of. "Artie.. i don't know what half of this stuff means."

"You're a quick learner though. You'll get the hang of it." he passively encouraged. She gave him a look before he wheeled himself away.

She look at the papers once again before tossing it on the table. She looked at her kit and let out a breath. "I need more brushes.." she said to herself. Her phone started to ring making her have to step further off the stage to not make too much noise. "Hello?" she asked not looking at the caller ID.

"Hey.." she heard over the phone. It was a soft but very recognizable voice.

"Sam." she said. She looked around hoping no one was listening to her. "H-Hi. Hi, what are you.. what did you call me for? Not that i didn't want you to call me. It's just that i was.. doing nothing really-" she kept rambling on.

"Wil- Willow." he said in a laugh. She stopped instantly hearing his laugh. She couldn't explain why but it was like hearing his laugh was one thing she missed most. "I really don't know why i called.." he confessed.

It was quiet before Rachel walked in the door. "Willow, i'm going to need your assistance with my hair. I have almost a dozen ways to style." she almost demanded.

"I'm not looking at your hairstyles, Rachel. I'm only doing makeup." she said. Watching the girl accept defeat she smiled to herself.

"What was that about?" Sam asked on the other end.

"Rachel was just being annoying as always." she said. "I don't understand why they let her be the lead in this play."

"Uh.. it's because she's the Rachel Berry, of course." he joked. She could see him flip his hair like Rachel and laughed. Their laughter came to a stop once someone shouted something on Sam's end. "Okay- I gotta go, Willow."

She nodded like he could see her. "Yeah." Neither knew what else to say and hung up. Of course to anyone else, it would have been stupid to get excited after talking to an ex. But even after the breakup, she always wanted to be friends.

The next day, Willow ranted to Finn about her talk with Sam. "It was like i had just ran a marathon. The good kind." she said.
