"Oh my god, Daisy," Dustin whispered. "Why- sorry, how?"

"What?" I cringed as the pain quickly became more prominent. My stomach was still iffy, but my face felt fucking swollen and so fucking sensitive. I think I was crying, or bleeding. I don't know, but there was something on my face.

"Are you okay?" Max held my shoulders, turning me to look at her.

"Yeah, I'm fine."

"Your face is like-" Lucas waved his hands around him, making a face.

"Thanks." I tried to smile, but I just felt pain.

"I'm not trying to be offensive in any way at all-" Dustin started. "But why was he so scared of you? Last year a girl with superpowers broke his arm and basically levitated Mike and he still kept bullying us!"

"Alright-" Max said. "You guys need to stop with the superhero bullshit."

"No-" He groaned, then turned to me. "Anyways, Daisy, do you know why he was so scared of you?"

I shrugged. "He's my cousin."

Everyone looked shocked. "What?!"

"Yeah." I nodded, looking around for my backpack. It was a few feet away, along with my roller skates sitting up against it. "You know, Troy Harrington, Daisy Harrington. It's the same last name."

"Woah." Max giggled, sitting back. "We're so stupid."

"Did-" Dustin paused, scrambling to his feet. "Steve's here."

We all turned to look at the blue car turning into the bus loop, the driveway we were sitting a few feet away from.

"Shit." Max pulled herself up, offering a hand to me, which I gratefully took.

"Thanks." I grabbed my bag, pulled it over my shoulders, then I put all of my hair in front of my face to try and cover any bruises.

Steve stopped in front of us, and Dustin took shotgun, as usual. Max opened the door for me in the back, and Lucas climbed in the trunk.

"Jesus, what happened to you?" He asked.

Max placed her skateboard in her lap, slamming the door.

"Troy's still a fucking dick," I noted.

"Uh, yep."

"When were you gonna tell me?"

"I thought you knew."

"He's scared of her!" Dustin exclaimed.

"'cause he's our cousin?" Steve muttered.

"Yeah."

"Did you guys not know that?" He asked.

"No," Max added. "We just- uhh, we didn't know Daisy until like a week ago-"

"Three days." I corrected.

"Yeah, and we didn't make a connection." She explained.

"Really?" Steve laughed. "I'm Steve Harrington."

"You're just Steve." Dustin protested.

I saw him roll his eyes in the mirror. "Uh, where's everyone else, by the way?"

"Mike went with Will," Lucas said.

"Of course." He muttered. "Uh, Daisy, we are going to have a problem. We'll talk later."

"We can get supplies at CVS." Max suggested. "I've got like three dollars."

"Supplies?" I asked.

"Yeah, you kinda look like you just got beat up." She replied.
