Sorry for the massive lack of updates, I got kicked out : ) i stayed at a friends house for a few days and then my parents finally got me and threatened to send me to a mental hospital if I ran away again. im fine. anyways here's a story update.

"Uh I don't mean to freak anyone out, but I swear we've seen this tree before." Robin waved her flashlight to a tree near me.

"That's impossible." Steve muttered. He was walking next to me, with Robin and Nancy in front of us.

"That would suck, right? If Vecna destroyed the world because 'cause we got lost in the woods?" She continued.

"We're not lost, Robin." Nancy pointed out. The other girl scoffed. Robin ran ahead of us, Nancy racing after her to follow.

"Robin, hey!" She shouted.

"Watch out for the vines! Hive mind. Remember?" Steve added.

"Thank you!" She was almost out of earshot when she replied.

I continued walking in silence, watching the ground. Every so often I stepped over a vine on the ground. As my hands shook, the light on the ground warbled over the dirt. I just couldn't get it out of my mind.

I killed my dad.

I don't even know why I did it. He would've just run to the cops if I hadn't. or gone and told someone. I guess that's why I did it.

I really hate him. He's a massive asshole. I've kind of blocked out everything that happened before I moved in with my step mom. Most of my childhood memories are gone now, except for a few. There was one time he and my step mom got in a massive fight and he started throwing plates around. One hit me, and I had a bruise on my leg for a month.

Another time he smashed an empty beer bottle ont he counter, and started swinging at me. Steve get in between that fight, and he was only like, twelve when it happened. I was just ten. I've still got a few scars on my shoulder.

The last thing I remember is something I really don't want to remember at all. Not like I didn't want to remember the others either, but this one was the worst. My dad took me into his bedroom when no one else was home, and he-

"Hey." Steve nudged my shoulder, looking at me.

"What."

"Are you okay?"

"No." I shook my head, continuing to stare at the ground. "I killed him."

"I know you're scared, or whatever, from that." He began. "But trust me, he deserved it. I'm kind of freaking out on the inside too, because y'know, he's dead. They're going to find a body or whatever. But, I'm honestly glad you did it."

I slowly nodded. "Why?"

"Why am I glad you did it?"

"Yeah."

"Because he's a massive dick." He muttered. "Plus, he doesn't know how to raise kids, and he was probably going to kill us anyways."

I stepped over a vine below me.

"Trust me Daisy, he deserved it." Steve continued. "He was an abuse piece of shit who finally got a proper consequence."

"Death?"

"Yeah, death." He scoffed. "He ruined my life, probably yours too."

"If you wanna talk about ruined lives, look around." I waved to the alternate dimension we we currently walking in.
