"Steve says you need to hurry!" Erica sprinted into Eddie's room.
"Yeah? No shit!" Dustin screamed.
"We're trying. We can't find anything!" Max exclaimed.
"What is all this shit?!" Robin shouted.
"What are you even looking for?" Eddie asked.
"Madonna, Blondie, Bowie, Beatles? Music! We need music!" Robin threw a handful of tapes off his shelf, screaming.
"This is music!" He screeched, holding up a tape.
"Come on come on come on-" I muttered, shuffling through a box of records. I left the room, running to the other end. His uncle's always listening to stuff.
"Daisy where are you going?!" Dustin screamed.
"Just-" I threw open the door, immediately locating a portable record player and box of tapes next to it. I shuffled through the box, hands shaking. I found the Beatles. "Hey!" I shouted, grabbing it. I carried the record player into the living room and plugged it in.
"Oh shit! Nancy!" Steve's voice echoes through the portal.
"Wait!" I set the record in, putting the needle in the record. I turned the volume all the way up as Revolution started blasting.
"Shit!" Dustin ran in, sliding on the floor next to it. "Holy shit!"
"Nancy!" Robin ran in, shouting at the ceiling.
"Oh my god-" Max ran in, skidding on the floor.
"Come on Nancy wake up-"
She gasped, looking up. She's okay. She's fine.
"Oh my god Nancy-" Steve grabbed her, catching her before she fell over. "It's okay! It's okay it's okay-"
"Get out of there!" Robin screamed, shaking the blanket rope.
Steve stammered something, standing her back up. "Just get-get out." He picked her up, almost throwing her into the portal. She landed with a loud gasp on the mattress, shaking.
"Nancy-"
Steve climbed up right after, flipping and landing on his feet. "Come on. We're leaving."
"Where do we go?" Erica asked.
"Our trailer?" I suggested.
"No, there are three chairs." Steve brushed himself off, picking Nancy up. He was wearing Eddie's jean vest and bandages around his waist, covered in dirt and blood.
"What the fuck are you wearing?" I muttered.
He scoffed. "Max, is your mom home?"
"She'll be gone at seven for her work."
"It's twelve." Robin supplied.
"We'll sleep in ours." I decided. "Then go to Max's when her mom's gone."
"I'm really tired." Dustin yawned.
"Great, then we'll sleep." I reached for the door, glancing back at them. They were standing in the living room, Beatles still blasting. "Come on."
"Eddie cover your face," Steve said.
"It's dark out, I don't need to."
"Fine."
I went first, unlocking the door and turning on the light. The kids filed in, then Eddie, Robin, Steve, and Nancy.
"Is that Will's couch?" Dustin asked. He's never been here before.
