By the time we had gotten to class the next day. The teacher had already set up the bed...
I'm just going to skip to the part after class.
Owen looked at me, like he had done something horrible to me. Our teacher had not lived up to her, two days of talk-it-over time.
When I arrived at my house, I was shocked to see a moving van outside my window, I ran up to my house, "MOM! What the crap?" I yelled, "Your teacher called, your test was positive, Your father, Owen's parents, and I all descided, that you shouldn't have to live with your parents with a baby" she said, though it sounded like she was regretting herself somehow.
I heard tires pull in the driveway behind me. It was Owen's car, it looked like a bright red Thudnerbird convertable, but he didn't know what it was.
He looked even more worried now. Not just worried, but angry, and upset, and ideas were rushing around inside his head, like fireflies in a jar. "Now, come on sweetie, we've gotta get moving, the landlord is waiting to give you a tour of the house" My mother said.
I turned around and grabbed Owen's hand, he pulled me into his chest, and I started bawling. He stroked my hair. "Owen, why did they have to ruin our lives?" I sobbed, he held me close, "I don't know Misty, I just don't know." he said,
When we got to our new appartment, I was happy to see my best friend Cindy.
"Oh, my gosh, Misty!" she yelled, running and hugging me. "If it's a boy, what will be his name, if it's a girl what will be her name?" Cindy asked exitedly, "CINDY! I don't know, this is all to much..." I said.
"Oh... I just wanted to know, since you are supposed to record the birth and show it to the class..." she said. "wait, WHAT?" I yelled.
"The coach didn't tell you? She's going to record the babies birth, and show it to the class." she said. "WHAT?" Owen yelled. "Oh, please don't make me repeat this again" Cindy said...
This is dedicated to my friend Brin :)
